Unlike a nearby place that shall go un-named, Jo-El’s make all their baked goods in their on site bakery.
They also have an amazing selection of house made salads, and fabulous deli counter.
You can have a yummy in house breakfast or lunch. Or take away for later.
The inside is cute, clean and very interesting.
Staff are all glorious and helpful.
Been in the same space for over 40 years. Original owners still providing amazing foods and baked goods.

This was a catering order. They accommodated us with a short notice order for 50 bagels and cream cheese, which was beautifully presented. However, I never expected that 50 bagels and cream cheese would cost $400! When you order from Jo-El’s, it does. I was shocked.

Authentic Jewish Deli. Hidden gem near Mazzarro’s. Tucked away on a side street you will see what appears to be a warehouse. Inside, you will find fresh baked bagels, sandwiches and all the classics. I got a reuben and matzo ball soup. This is the real deal! Owners greated me on my way in and George took good care of me at the counter. If you are looking for a classic Jewish deli, be sure to check it out!

Why did we wait 10 years to find this place? Food was authentic Jewish deli food. Matzo Ball soup was just right along with the soft matzo ball. Very friendly people. BEST kept secret in St. Petersburg. We were given a pastry right from the oven. Delicious!

I love Jo-Els for many reasons. Their food is always fresh, delicious and kosher. Their deli counter is wonderful if Your in the mood for a sandwich or a nosh. Their grocery shelves are always well stocked. The owners and employees are warm, engaging and friendly. Most importantly, they have faithfully served the Tampa Bay area for decades. I hope this place is still standing when my daughter reaches my age ( which we won’t discuss ☺️).
