I had a wonderful experience dining in. Felt like a little Asian fusion with some Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese fusion. The food was a little bit on sweet side, but it was delicious and presentation was very mouth watering. I got there a little bit before the lunch rush, but service was very good and quick. Decor was interesting and added to the Asian vibe. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking. I enjoyed the taro bubble tea. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant.

I was surprised with the flavors of their foods
Soup was amazing very sour just how I like it !!
We order some shrimp rolls also delicious and we order a chicken dish can’t remember the name but the flavors were like Thai basil chicken. But forgot to take a photo I would come back for sure for all I also had a Thai tea which I love anyway.

The crab Rangoon was really good The sauce served with it was great The ribs had this bad aftertaste little chewy The sauce was very good with the ribs so was the vegetables. Soup was really good.

I tried the lasak curry seafood noodle soup with an order of pineapple fried rice. The soup was fragrant and comforting, with noodles, seafood, and curry broth that had just the right amount of spice. The pineapple fried rice was light and flavorful, with a nice touch of sweetness from the fruit. The staff were attentive and the environment felt casual but inviting. It was a meal that left me full and happy.

Generally had good experiences here over the years, and the food is good. But I did not have a good experience today with the snarky bartender/server asking me if I need to have my hearing checked when I politely asked to put on the game on the tv. I don’t care how bad of a day you’re having or how much you hate your life that’s just terrible service. As much as I like the food and the cute little owner lady I won’t be back. That’s not how you treat customers. If you visit this place, don’t sit at the bar. That gal is miserable.

I have enjoyed visiting Spices for years but I found the food this visit to be lacking in flavor. The Chinese Wonton Noodle Soup used to have more seasoning and flavor. The staff that was helping was okay but she does need to slow down and listen a bit better to improve customer service. The atmosphere was okay as well.

Came here for my brothers birthday & it was good! We got a variation of things, but to name a few, we ordered the crab rangoon, pad Thai, and seafood fried rice. All tasted great along with the fruit punch! Service was spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. My only complaint would be that it has limited seating if you’re going with a large group, but other than that, overall, it’s a great place!

Great food and friendly, helpful service. Delicious curries. A small assortment of classic Thai noodle dishes.

The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, with lots of booths. Somewhere between a little dark and romantic, but also a bit open and modern.

Nicely decorated with various elephant statues, hanging monkeys, and similar decor.

Particularly fond of the Gang Dang / Red Curry, the Panang / Peanut Curry, the Phad See Ew (wide rice noodles with broccoli, tofu, and a dark soy sauce), and the fresh summer/spring rolls are always good!

Sadly they don’t seem to have Phad Woon Sen any longer (skinny bean thread noodle dish)… The noodle dishes are of course better fresh and in the restaurant versus takeout.

Not the very best Thai restaurant in the metro, but we have definitely had some tasty dishes from them and friendly service over the years.

Looking on from the outside you wouldn’t know a great Asian restaurant is inside. The interior is quaint with nice booths for couples or small groups. But get to the food and oh my! You will be dreaming of it for days to come. Always great quality and always great taste. Definitely my favorite Asian restaurant north of the river. Highly recommend you go see for yourself.

Was looking forward to trying this fairly new restaurant. They had an extensive menu with items that sounded really delicious. Their crab Rangoon was good and the chicken lettuce wraps were ok. The orange chicken was terrible and the bbq pork fried rice was also not any good. With a high price point for mediocrity, I will not return.
