place is alright. didnt try their pizza but will come again to try others things. I did try their fried chicken. the fried chicken looks good and golden but lacks flavor. needs more seasoning. maybe lemon pepers? the gyro is a no no. the meat was dry and over cooked. the pita bread and sauce was good though. the fries were good. the chicken Alfredo was good but too much mozzarella cheese on top and when you mix it with the noodles it becomes too thick and no sauce. the birrias taco was good. crispy outside filled with meaty juicy beef and cheese.

We had to try Sal’s pizza as we were in Sussex and have been told it’s the best pizza in the area. Sal’s does majority takeout and preorders over the phone. The pizza came out quick and the owner was really nice and gave us suggestions for her other restaurant to check out.

I absolutely love the Sal’s in Waukesha. Order there alot from the place I work. Super excited that they came to Sussex BUT in the last year when we order food other then pizza it’s slacking. Pay for extra sour cream not given. Blue cheese not given with wings. Ranch not given with appetizer. This is not a difficult request when it is part of your order. Get it together Sussex Sal’s.

twice a month on a budget after taxes and credit card fee plus tip it costs over $25. They should be grateful for your business! Pizza is average, garlic bread is always slightly burnt. I try to support community businesses but they don’t appreciate you as a regular customer.

Food good just a few observations, fries were under cooked and Beef was dry! Pizza is good! It was their first day open so we will be back to try again after it slows down a little. I would say if you order Beef add extra au jus to be on safe side as the Sandwich was not bad.

Always good. I’ve ordered a handful of times and it’s always been consistent, and delicious! Recently I asked if they can make a stuffed crust (not on the menu) and they made a custom stuffed crust and I WAS FANTASTIC! A Sussex staple!

Sals is the BEST pizza in town!! Don’t sleep on them. The pizza is flavorful, toppings are fresh and the crust is perfect every time. The quesabirria dinner is my #2 go to. The cashier, Amia, is always a pleasure. Owners are so friendly and the guys in the back always say Hi! Thanks Sals!!
