The roasted rice tea was served beautifully in an open tea bag strainer. The four sushi rolls were delicious! Hospitality was due to a delcious complimentary dish of fish collar.

Super fresh ingredients and some secret magic spices make their sushi rolls and BBQ beef outstanding. They sell their sauces in bottles to take home. I highly recommend their peanut vinaigrette. Fantastic on any salad and makes a great dip/marinade for grilling.

Busy place, huge menu. Fresh sushi, big pieces. Staff is nice and helpful. Even when they are extremely busy the servers are attentive to your needs. In a strip mall, isn’t easily seen from the street. Plenty of parking. If you go at dinner time, be prepared to wait. I went early, around 5, 5.15 and got a seat right away. My boyfriend loved the Woodside Roll, I preferred the Volcano Roll. If you want to stick with Nigri or sashimi, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time trying sushi with beef in in instead of fish. Sadly, I wasn’t super impressed although I was a little intrigued. The beef in the Kobe Beef Roll was pretty tender, but kind of too soft and it was way too greasy. We also got the TnT Roll and the Mountain View Roll to share and they were okay. It satisfied my sushi craving, but nothing that blew me away.
Overall, an okay place to get your sushi fix, with okay prices.

Sushi Plus is one of my go-to sushi restaurant in the NorCal Bay Area. I’ve been there quite a few times, and tried many different selections from the menu. The order this time around is…

– Combination Sushi & Sashimi (Chef’s Choice)

– Super Duper Roll
Their main focus are sushi, so all their nigiri, sashimi, and rolls are very good. They do not skim on the ingredients. Unlike other places that focus on rice for their sushi, this place has a good rice to fish ratio. They have other Japanese dishes also, but sushi is the recommendation.
The Miscellaneous
Sushi Plus is within a plaza, so there are plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is not super big, but there are a decent amount of seating. Though during peak hours it can get pretty packed and long wait time. Their services has always been good, and staffs are sincere every time I went. The menu can get a bit overwhelming because their have a lot of choices and categories to choose from. But most of their selections are good, and there’s nothing wrong with getting the usual. The prices are quite reasonable with the quantity and quality they provide when compared to other restaurants. Definitely recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet.

Dropped in for a quick bite and immediately felt a warm welcome. Sushi Plus has a friendly and attentive staff, happy customers and above average portions of delicious Japanese cuisine. We ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box with Fresh Tuna Sashimi, steamed rice, Miso soup, salad and an incredibly crispy shrimp and veggie Tempura. Accompanied by a large bowl of tasty and perfectly seasoned Chicken Nabeyaki Udon soup. Highly recommended! I was a little bummed out that they don’t have wifi, but oh well..
