The fish is fresh and crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside. The fries are hot and perfectly cooked.
The portion size is generous and the price is very reasonable.

Riverside Fish Hut is a true local gem. You can tell right away that this place has been around for years — it has that authentic, old-school charm that’s hard to find nowadays.
One thing that really stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained everything is. The food quality is consistently excellent,every visit tastes just as fresh, crispy, and satisfying as the last.
The owner has clearly been running this shop for a long time and takes real pride in it. The service feels genuine and welcoming, like you’re supporting a long-standing neighborhood business rather than a chain.
And of course, the fish & chips are fantastic !fresh, crispy, and generously portioned.
If you appreciate clean, well-run, family-style establishments with history and heart, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Riverside Fish Hut really hit the spot for our fish n chips craving! I appreciated how their menu offered different types of fish to try out, but it was still kept simple. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the pieces were the perfect size for me (not too big and not too small) so we were easily able to finish it. I would recommend trying it out!

After walking in the park, it’s a great stop over for some tea, coffee and brunch or lunch. The poutine cheese and gravy was very good,maybe just a little salt ☺️ The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm.

Decided to make a stop at this lil fish and chips spot when I had to make a trip out to Cambridge from Mississauga and I was definitely not disappointed. The portions were HUGE and everything was very tasty! I highly recommend the spot as although the food is obv fried it doesnt feel too greasy like other places ive been too. The prices were also very reasonable and the waitress was super friendly. 10/10 would make a stop again next time im in town

Had a very long and tiresome day on the 23rd, absolutely starving we decided to take a chance at a place we’ve never been before since we don’t live in the area. To our surprise our minds were blown by some of the most delicious fish and chips and shrimp we’ve ever had! And the prices were amazing too. I got halibut and chips, my partner got cod and we tried their popular fried shrimp recommended and prepared by our waitresses word.
Speaking of the waitress, I wish I remembered her name but she had a smile and a face you couldn’t forget, a beautiful presence, one of the best and kindest waitresses we’ve ever had, thank you! I would travel back here for the service and atmosphere alone.
