KE Black is consistently EXCELLENT. The food and drinks are incredible, they have such a great variety of kitchen supplies and tools (perfect for gifts too), and everyone who works there is wonderful. If you’re in Dysart, you must stop by. If you aren’t, it’s absolutely worth a detour to visit!

Such a cute shop filled with unique kitchen items, gift ideas, and local vendors. I try to come here every Dysart visit because every time there’s something new and cute and useful! They also have a lovely selection of wines which is hard to find in rural Iowa. The food menu has some great options, I’ve never had a bad choice! Definitely make this a must visit if you get a chance!

Cozy coffee shop with ample seating and great coffee & sandwiches. We normally visit from out of town for a weekend lunch, peruse their kitchen shop, and always purchase a bag of coffee beans while there. The brand is Door County Coffee and it’s fantastic.

Loved this place! All the kitchen gadgets and supplies were fun to look through. I had the smoke n mirrors salad and it was delicious as was the cold brew. Lots of great sugar free syrup options! The people were so friendly. Very good experience, I look forward to coming back soon!

What a wonderful store in a small town atmosphere. This is definitely worth the drive from Waterloo or Cedar Falls or any surrounding towns. They have a fantastic selection of kitchen equipment and gadgets to choose from. Also, many unique kitchen wares, tools, wine, dip mixes and glassware. Their bakery items are delicious. Definitely a gem in the country. Check this store out! They also offer outdoor dining and seating. The service is outstanding.

Visited for lunch with some colleagues and found it to be a very unique and cozy place! Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing! Everybody in the group commented on how much they enjoyed their respective dishes!

Great small shop in a great small town. If you are in the are and looking for a good unique lunch, go here. Good for if you’re not in the mood for a greasy cheeseburger. Our kids love the smoothies. Their favorite is peach but there are many great flavors. The shop has unique kitchen items and is a great place to find a gift for someone who is hard to buy for.

My favorite place for lunch in the area. I usually get the Rachel but all of the sandwiches are tasty. If you get a salad, try the maple vinaigrette, it’s ridiculously good! Good coffee drinks and Hansen’s ice cream are available for those who want a treat. There are also fun kitchen items, specialty food products, plus wine. It’s worth the drive from Waterloo.
