Met here for lunch. The staff was so friendly and the service was great. Three people got breakfast and all said it was delicious. I got the salad with grilled chicken. It was fresh, crisp, delicious and a very generous serving. Only downside was the noise level but…it was at the height of lunch service and the place was packed. Will definitely be back.

Went for breakfast with friends. Great hashbrowns!! Warm, friendly service, and a cozy, Southern Indiana style atmosphere. The pancakes are gi-NORM-ous! This is a great spot to eat and relax. Definitely coming back when I’m in town.

Service was fantastic, friendly staff, great desserts. My wife and my father loved their entrees. I had the grilled chicken, it was average but the cornbread was outstanding. I would definitely go back to try something else. The chicken breast tasted like it was processed with “rib meat”. Like something you would find in the frozen section in Walmart. Otherwise, everything else was great.

I had a better experience here this time. Food was good. Service was better and the atmosphere even seemed better. They aren’t open in the afternoons and evenings so I have felt hurried before when I ate at lunch time. This time I didn’t feel like I was being rushed so the employees could get side work and closing activities done. I had a cinnamon roll and also bacon and fried potatoes. The bacon was perfect. Not too crispy but also not chewy. I would prefer bigger pieces of cut onion in the potatoes instead of diced onions but overall it was very good!

Decent priced daily specials and home cooked style menu items make this restaurant a good value. Staff are friendly and the place is busy, but not crowded for lunch. The breaded white fish meal was hot and tasty.

Simple American favorites. My first visit. Friendly staff but a bit inattentive unless you’re a regular. The decor was very Americana. The lighting was a bit on the dark side.
I opted for the western omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The omelet was very square with 1 slice of pepper jack cheese. It reminded me a bit like the omelets they served in the Army. The meat and veggies were diced and did not seem filling. The hash browns were a bit on the oily side. Again it reminded me of the Army. The coffee was good and strong and always available. The prices are very affordable. The omelet was $5.99. With tip it ended up to be $12.00.
I may come again to check out the lunch menu. But only if I’m hungry and in the area.

The breakfast omelette was sub-par. Smaller than expected with very little ingredients. The piece of cheese was just laying on top. The sausage was slightly greasy. The white gravy had no flavor. Next time, I’ll select something else.

Courteous Covid Conscious staff. Everyone from the front of house to back of house is in a face covering/mask. Service was friendly and fast. Portion sizes are more than ample, food was cooked to order and served in minutes. Outside Heated seating is also offered for those who aren’t comfortable with an indoor environment. Where else can you get a Steak 2 eggs a half order of B&G and their famous scattered hash browns covered in cheese onion and green peppers with coffee for under $13? Not too many places offer that value.

Absolutely recommend trying this place!! They were REALLY busy when we stopped by so the service was a little slow. However, the staff was friendly and the food was amazing!! Even though their prices are incredibly low, my steak and eggs was some of the best I’ve ever had.
