I have always heard good things about Pam’s and saw they were pretty busy usually so decided to try it! When I walked in it smelt so good and I was like oh yeah this is going to be good why did I wait so long to come here. Butttt when I tried the food I was so disappointed. The chicken was so fried there was barely any breading left on it so the skin was so tough and it was honestly flavorless- didn’t even taste salted. The Mac n cheese was juicy like it was under cooked, the gravy and rice was weird – why would you stir water in rice on the buffet? Blew my mind when I saw that- explained why the rice was so wet and almost gummy. Cakes were pretty dry and unsweetened except for the icing.
The cabbage was amazing and so were the biscuits! Service was exceptional and the place was clean but at $18 plus tax for the buffet I would have liked it to be better – definitely not worth the money.

Boy that was excellent. I’m from Charleston, but if I’m hungry, passing through, and on the correct day, I know where I’ll be stopping again! Impeccable service too. Loved the collard greens, pork rinds, and banana pudding. Mmmm mmmm. I was quite pleased.

I’ve been eating at Pam’s for years, but they lost a loyal customer today. I paid for a soda, which is a dollar more, and was supposed to be handed a ticket to give the waitress to prove we did in fact pay for a soda. Well the lady didn’t give me one and the waitress got nasty after I told her I paid for one. Saying I’d be surprised at how many people try and get one over on them. Well I don’t appreciate the insinuation that I’m trying to get one over on them. I mean after spending $34 dollars, is questioning a customer’s integrity over a dollar really worth it? I’ll give my money to Shirley’s from now on. Better food and people anyway.

Food was above average. Atmosphere was nice and clean. Waitress was nice. Wouldn’t ride ti far to eart here, but was decent option on our trip through.

Food was what your typical southern restaurants have…fried chicken, rice and gravy or tomatoes, mac and cheese, cabbage, collars, bbq, fatback…service was great. Waitress missing one arm was a delight for sure. She was so happy and helpful and nice. She deserves a million raises for her charm….

Great country buffet. Hot side had all the southern dishes and a full salad bar. And save room for the desert bar. The menu is always changing but it’s always delicious.

You have to love a rural area buffet with a leg lamp, bass mounted on the wall and pictures of the family on the wall. And Marilyn Monroe.
It’s your basic friend chicken, green beans, salad bar, black-eye peas, corn bread buffet with a healthy smattering of cobblers for dessert. Much of it was basic quick fix grub, but that chicken was outstanding. That alone is worth coming back to.
The buffet menu changes daily with the items listed on their website.

Great place to stop for lunch. The food was tasty but there isnt a big selection. This is a buffet style restaurant that was fairly busy when I was there. The staff kept all of the trays full and they were friendly to boot!
