We’ve been coming here for years and have just never gotten around to writing a long overdue review.
The brisket chili is legitimately one of the best things I’ve ever had. It’s. So. Good.
We’ve done the brisket, pulled pork, turkey, and sausage. All are fantastic, but the brisket comes out on top. Incredible flavor and always so moist.
The house made pickles are also a delightful addition.
What really put it all over the top was our experience today. I was resisting the bread pudding but just couldn’t stop thinking about it and ended up caving and getting it to go after we finished our meal.
The man behind the counter, assuming one of the owners, made sure we got to try the homemade vanilla ice cream… game over. It was so damn good.
5/5 for food and service.

delicious. turkey, brisquet and pork were all so good. macaroni and cheese and beans and the johnnys cake is so good. you need 1 per person. They should not be shared. They’re too good for that. Thanks for a delicious meal barbecue great staff very clean.

Great place for a solid BBQ experience that is authentic in a nice rustic atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable counter help as well. Been there twice and I think they deserve some well earned props.
Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality food. So much more affordable on a regular basis than those full service BBQ joints in the east valley.
This warm and homey spot is a father-son/family business. I am happy I found this gem in Queen Creek.

Wonderful place to eat. The food is delicious. They brisket melts in your mouth and the sides are made on site. The owners are friendly down to earth people!! My wife and I had their lunch special, they give you thick and juicy meat, no fat!!

Good bbq! Ribs were the best of their meats. Fall of the bone. Brisket is good though a little dry and could use more seasoning imo. Turkey and sausage were very average. I liked the beans and coleslaw. Kids liked the mac and cheese. Cornbread is delicious but the butter was vegetable oil (please get real butter!!). Service was great. Prices are fair.

Brisket was different. No bark. Really moist because they pour a juice over before they serve it. Good but not the best. Ribs were great. Sausage was ok. Corn bread was amazing. Brisket beans Mac and cheese was stellar.

Didn’t want to drive all the way to downtown Gilbert tonight for BBQ. Glad I was lazy because we were super satisfied with our BBQ options here. Full order of Brisket and Ribs were devoured. Sausages were good but we may try something else next time. Beans and mac’n’cheese were yummy. Really love how the sauces and condiments are individually packed. Their house BBQ sauce is good but do yourself a favor and ask for the spicy version! Parking near the restaurant was horrible at 6pm on a Friday. Dining area is kinda small but other people (like me) were just there for pickup. Online ordering form worked great by the way. Was in and out quickly. Overall great meal. We’re going back for sure!

Service was great and we love small business over corporations. Inside the restaurant is old town quaint. Our ribs were amazing. The brisket was a little more dry than I like but it was still good. Our sides were potato salad and macaroni and cheese. The potato salad was the favorite of the family. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing! I’m so mad it took us this long to come in and try it. We got the Sunday Family Picnic which was perfect to get to try a few different things and omg all of them were amazing!!! Fall off the bone ribs, brisket just melts in your mouth and the pork was so full of flavor! We opted for the Mac n Cheese and Potato Salad, both of which were so delicious! And let me tell you about those Johnny Cakes!!! Mmmmm! We definitely purchased a couple more to take home! Can’t wait to come back and bring our BBQ lovin family!
