Dine in our historic building circa 1756 or outside in our lush garden grotto. Our menu features locally sourced global flavor and was created by our Chef Patron Stephen Coe, a 6-time Food Network Chopped winner who Beat Bobby Flay.

We happened on this restaurant walking through Christiansted. The interior has so much character and the back patio was magical. Viktor was our server and he was wonderful. He had us laughing and feeling like family. Our food was the best meal we had while on the island! We had the lobster app, the seafood grotto, goat bolognese, local fish and chips and the grotto steak. We were too stuffed for dessert. You will not regret going here! And, our meal here was cheaper than several of the restaurants right on the boardwalk. You don’t want to miss this one!

To say this restaurant is a gem would be an understatement. Upon entering we were greeted and treated as family, the staff were so welcoming and fun, including the owner who was lovely and spent a lot of time taking care of us (Hi Davide, Greetings from Ohio!) The vibe is a perfect blend of historic Christiansted charm with a fun modern atmosphere. The food was delicious: we enjoyed the roasted garlic, fish and chips (that day was snapper), and for dessert the passionfruit special. We only wish we lived on St. Croix so we could visit again and again! Definitely pay them a visit you will not regret it. We would give more than five stars if we could.

WOW. Hands down one of the best places I have been in the USVI territory and maybe even stateside. Food was SO SO SO SO GOOD. Attentive and courteous waitstaff, really cool chill ambiance, and GREAT FOOD. The entire KEEP LEFT RESTAURANT GROUP is fabulous and this may be the crowning jewel.

We spent my husband’s birthday at Grotto tonight and we had an amazing time! Our server was wonderful and the food and atmosphere were perfect for a date night! Great ambiance. I arrived 30 minutes early to my resy; however, the bartender wasn’t friendly when we walked in. He was kinda dismissive, but the hostess/waitress saved the evening. I can’t remember her name, but it started with a J. She was such an accomodating, kind, and attentive waitress.
