Worth the Wait!

I wasn’t planning on going to Sag Pizza, but I was enticed to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. It was a busy Saturday evening, and we waited about 25 minutes for a table of six. Despite the crowd, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the service throughout the night was excellent.

We started off with a watermelon martini and a limoncello cocktail both refreshing, but the watermelon martini was definitely my favorite. Perfect for a hot summer day.

We shared a variety of dishes, including their specialty pizza with fresh tomato slices, a flavorful mushroom pizza, wood-fired chicken, tender meatballs, a refreshing zucchini salad, and a classic San Marzano pizza. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor.

What really stood out, though, was the level of customer care. The host took the time to explain the menu, and they were incredibly accommodating with food allergies offering gluten-free and dairy-free options that made everyone in our group feel comfortable and included.

They even served ice cold water right away, which was a small but much appreciated touch after a long, hot beach day.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. If you’re in Sag Harbor, especially on a weekend, I highly recommend making a reservation this spot gets busy for a reason!

A good choice when visiting sag Harbor without breaking the bank.
The host was very nice, not long waiting time, server so so. Environment great!
Food 8/10
The salad was good, but small in my opinion.
Pizza is not heavy, feels like fresh and the egg is just funny to have it .
For two people pizza and salad, 55 usd.

The pizza and salads are good. Seems like there isn’t a lot of selection without pork products now. It used to be many more options.

Staff is not proactive to seat you once you are there. They will wait for you to come to them.

I felt that we were rushed a little bit once we were seated.

I forgot how expensive this place is. 2 drinks a salad and 1 pizza was almost $80.

I have to say the pizza here was great. The margarita pie was very good. The truffle pie was also very good. My husband loves the Burutta. The arugula salad wasn’t the best very dry. I definitely would come back here and eat here again.

The summer squash pizza was really solid. The spaghetti vongole was as well. The seating was a bit frustrating because the system was not working properly and created some issues

We came in with a toddler. The staff were quick to bring over a high chair for the kiddo, get the orders so we could belly up with delicious unique pizza in flavors never had nor heard of before. Loved it. Loved that the restaurant patrons were kiddo appreciative, too.

Stoped in for a quick slice, ambiance is very nice their pepperoni slice is good value. Good size slices and great pepperoni with a chill oven counter seat made this a nice stop in for Lunch.

Great wood fired pizza in Sag Harbor. The pizzas taste great definitely the best (maybe only?) neopolitan pizza in Sag Harbor. Also got the mac n cheese which is surprisingly very tasty with a good amount of cheese. The place does get crowded in weekends and holidays and seems like they only take walkins.

Despite my initial reservations, I recently found myself dining at this establishment once more. Historically, its culinary offerings have been rather unremarkable, with the commendable exception of its attentive staff. However, on this particular occasion, I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a distinguished young gentleman—tall, striking, and with an air that suggests Caribbean heritage. His gracious demeanor and impeccable courtesy elevated the entire experience, leaving a lasting impression far beyond the cuisine itself.

My boyfriend and I are visiting from out of town and were recommended this spot by a local couple. Upon arrival the woman who seated us was super friendly. We looked over the menu for a few minutes before our server came over. We ordered an appetizer and two pizzas. The food and the atmosphere was great. Our server on the other hand was less than attentive and his attitude came off unfriendly. At first we thought it was because he was swamped with other tables but we noticed he was more attentive with the group at the table next to us and even friendly to them. We had to grab his attention to order and when we were ready to pay and he never checked on us during our meal. We are unsure if there was anything we might have done to upset him given the *very* little and rushed interaction that we had with him. The sauce for our pizza crusts never came out and after telling him he said he’d take it off the check only for us to have to remind him again after receiving the check and again when we paid.
