Delicious pineapple burgers and more. Friendly staff and nice seating outside. The occasional birds were a quiet addition (audition… for food). When craving a juicy burger, this is your place. Fries come in several flavor options such as BBQ or salt.

Best Loco Moco in Hawaii! Service is fast and friendly! There’s only a few tables to sit and it was always full. I always took it to go and even grabbed some banana nut bread when it was offered. So good! I walked there from Waikīkī.

The food at Banzai Burger in Waikīkī was amazing! Christine was such a joy super friendly and really took the time to recommend options based on what we liked. Everything she suggested was spot on. The burgers were delicious, and the overall vibe was great. If you’re looking for good food and good energy, definitely check out Banzai Burger!

We have been living downtown Waikīkī for about a month now and Banzai Burger is our go to spot. The prices are reasonable. The service is quick and courteous. The food is delicious every time. We’ve tried a variety of items but the Pipeline Burger is a favorite and they even have a keiki menu with delicious burger sliders and Mac and cheese. The garlic mayo is bomb! Christine has been there during several of our visits and she is a stand out! She is so kind and fun. She brings a genuine smile to our face every visit and makes us feel like Ohana! Definitely a must stop in Waikīkī!

So good! The food was excellent and the service from Christina was amazing! Perfect spot to dine at the international market place, the seating out on the patio is so refreshing and gives a beautiful view. Thank you again Christina and hope to see you soon!

A burger and a side comes out around 22-23 dollars, plus the minimum tip on their machine is 20%. You are above $30 per person is you include a drink. My burger was fine, a little dry and it had no veggies to separate the meat from the bottom bun, so that got soaked. Fries were fresh. The customera were cleaning the tables with napkins, there seems to be no employees responsible for that during lunch hours.

Quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. I had the Hawaiian burger and it was slightly sweet with the pineapple – amazing flavor, bun was buttery toasted, The fries were crispy and exactly how I like them. My son also said his burger was great. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on the main street and just feeling the vibe of all the shopping district. No problems with the service, the guys were friendly and food came relatively quick. We would go back. Prices are typical for the area.

We always have to have this burger whenever we come to Hawaii. But tonight the food was very very disappointing. It’s super oily, too much bbq sauce on the burger made it way to sweet combined with pineapple it’s like eating a dessert, and the fries are awful, so much oil and not crispy at all! Why change something that already working so well. Because of the experience today, we probably would never come back. I can’t even finish it. There are so many other options! Do better!

Stopped by here to grab a quick bite with my mom and it DIDN’T DISSAPOINT! Christine took my order and kindly brought it to our table and I requested the burger to be cut in half so my mom and i could share. I ordered the Hawaiian burger and it was mouthwatering delicious!!! The pineapple was so juicy and the food came out very quick! Christine’s energy made the experience more enjoyable. Must try the Hawaiian burger if you come to Banzai! There’s indoor and outdoor seating too, definitely sit outside if the weather is nice too

If you’re traveling to Waikiki Beach and looking for an unforgettable dining experience that combines mouthwatering food, tropical drinks, and warm, friendly service, you must visit Tacos and Tequila La Panina and their neighbor, Banzai Burger! As a traveling family on our Christmas vacation, these two spots quickly became the highlight of our trip.
Tacos and Tequila La Panina: Let’s start with Tacos and Tequila. Their nachos? Out of this world! These aren’t your average nachos—they are piled high with so much flavorful meat that the chips are just the foundation for a true feast. Every bite was filling and bursting with flavor.
Special Shout-Out to Christine: While the food was amazing, the real magic of this place is in its people. Christine, one of the staff members, is an absolute gem. She made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Christine embodies the warmth and charm of hometown USA—you know, that feeling of being back home, surrounded by friends. She’s so lovely, personable, and genuine, and her kindness added a whole new layer to our experience.
Banzai Burger: Next door at Banzai Burger, we found another treasure. My son couldn’t get enough of their double-patty burger, and I savored every bite of the Waimea Burger, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The affordability was the icing on the cake—you can enjoy a full, hearty meal for around $20, which is a rare find in Waikiki.
And let’s not forget the drinks! I tried the Dragon Fruit Margarita, the Orange Blood Margarita, and the Blue Lagoon Margarita, each one better than the last. Perfectly mixed and refreshing, these cocktails made me feel like I was truly in paradise.
Location: Both restaurants are conveniently located near the food court in Waikiki, just steps from the resorts, making it an easy walk for anyone staying in the area.
Between the delicious food, the tropical drinks, and the incredible hospitality—especially from Christine—these two spots are a must-visit. They made us feel right at home in the heart of paradise. Five stars isn’t enough to express how much we loved this experience!
