Had Harp Lager and Corned Beef and Cabbage. You can see in the picture how beautiful the dish is and it was delicious. Really nice atmosphere. Really good crowd at bar, I got the only empty seat. Good music, not too loud. Bridget waited on me.

Nice play but not what was expected. We wanted to watch European soccer and it came up as a soccer bar. Anything but soccer was on. However, the bartender did change for us after requesting. It didn’t start getting busy until after 1 PM. Good Irish whiskey choices. Enjoyed the Reuben rolls but skip the cottage pie. They don’t carry Worcestershire.

Pretty good food for a week night when all the other restaurants were closed at 9pm. We got the fish tacos which were delicious. The buffalo chicken wrap and they did not skimp on the chicken. The cheeseburger with Gouda was good as well. But definitely get medium instead of medium well. The Jameson wings are good and a favorite. The first batch of wings were a little over cooked. But the staff was very pleasant and accommodating to fix the wings. Their customer service was excellent.

As bars and pubs go, Finnegan’s Wake is one of the best I know in the area. I’ve gone late nights with friends or coworkers, and I just tried their Brunch. The food is always great, chill vibes, and good drinks. We had the Irish breakfast, which was great, and the corned beef hash. The hash was very saucey, which is not what I was expecting, but it was delicious.
The bartender, I believe Vanessa, was single handedly serving a lot of guest, and she was doing a great job.
We came on Saturday around noon and they had live music, which was also great.

We had an incredible experience at Finnegans Wake Pub in Rockville! The traditional Irish Breakfast and Fish N Chips were both delicious and authentic. What truly made our visit special was the staff—when our waitress learned we were celebrating our anniversary, she brought out three glasses and toasted us in front of the whole restaurant. Such a thoughtful and memorable touch! 5 stars—highly recommended!

One of my favorite classic pub with wooded theme and live sports. You cant go wrong with Irish beer and Irish food. Service could be friendlier though – but I don’t blame the staff as it is usually overflowing with crowd. That shows how popular this pub is in the neighborhood.

The 2 servers Saturday could give a master class in dealing with a rush.

The place was all but empty on a Saturday night. We walked in and were directed to a table. The place filled up almost instantly. The servers behind the bar came out and past by each table. They had our order and everyone had drinks in minutes.

Friendly atmosphere.

Lee really enjoyed the fries. My fish and chips was one of the better ones I have had recently. Magners was served up cold. Sodas were kept full.

Well behaved dogs were invited in. Would definitely stop in when the kids wanna ice skate.

Plenty of beer selection, craft & the other boring yelllow American stuff. As well a large selection of whiskey, scotch & bourbon. The brunch menu was tasty, 4 different Irish style dishes everyone was happy. The place has a nice casual atmosphere and clean. By the time we were served the place was packed to watch sporting events on the jumbo screen and 3 other tvs. They handled being slammed busy just fine & didn’t hover over us while hanging out for 2.5 hours. Park over in the garage, they’ll validate, and enjoy the stroll through the square.
