Super cute atmosphere for dinner and drinks with the girls. Presentation of food and drinks was great especially as I am someone who eats with their eyes. After we received our food, we weren’t checked on but when we did interact with staff, they promptly serviced us. We’ll be back very soon to try the rest of the drink menu.

Went yesterday for lunch and was super impressed with everything. No idea why it was slow but if that’s the norm, make this your go-to lunch spot when you’re in the area.

The food was excellent. The drinks were amazing. And the service was quick and friendly. 10/10. No notes!

My friends and I visited Chateau last month for our yearly Christmas get-together during weekday lunch. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and we were seated promptly by friendly hosts.

Our server was polite but not very attentive, especially compared to the rest of the staff. We ordered several basic dishes—truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, grilled chicken sandwich, Caesar wrap, quinoa bowl, truffled grilled cheese, and a burger. The food was mediocre and not worth the price.

Unfortunately, the experience was ruined when a live insect was found moving in the burger my friend was served. We were completely mortified and immediately lost our appetite. While the host offered a replacement, no credit or comp was provided for the contaminated dish, which was very disappointing given the seriousness of the situation.

The ambience is nice, but for how expensive the bill was, the quality and sanitation issues make this place not worth the visit .

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been wanting to come here since they opened! As a longtime fan of Honey & Brie, I couldn’t wait to try their new spot—and it did not disappoint. My husband brought me here for a Mother’s Day brunch date, and it was the perfect choice.

We arrived early, around 10:30 AM, since we had other plans later in the day. Thankfully, my husband had made a reservation, so we were seated right away with no wait.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a side salad and a side of truffle fries—everything was delicious. My husband had the Chateau breakfast, and we shared an order of French toast. The portions were generous, and every bite was amazing! For Mother’s Day, they offered a complimentary glass of champagne. Nice touch!

The service was excellent, and the ambiance was chic, modern, and inviting. It’s a perfect spot for a date or a girls’ night out. I will most definitely be coming back!

Alright, let’s get down to the nitty gritty with Chateau. Place is really good! Recommended reserving a table, otherwise you’re waiting a long time to get seated indoors. We opted for outdoor seating, and it was interesting how they converted the side of the restaurant into outdoor tables.(slightly crowded) Got our appetizers( deviled eggs, truffle fries, bread) and boy out of all 3 the deviled caviar topped deviled eggs did not disappoint! Literally was the smoothest deviled eggs I’ve ever had. The mixture was not an overpowered flavor but very soft and delicious. The mayo at the bottom evens it out. Then we talk about the main courses. The Angel hair vongole and the seared lambchops were both very good. And when I go back I would definitely go for the Angel hair plate. Delicious noodles, shrimp, and clams. Nice little kick to it with really good flavor. And finally we get to the dessert. The creme Brule cheesecake was good. Had a really good top layer, but I did wish the bottom layer(crust) was a bit more crumbly. Felt like they had just taken it out of the fridge. Overall my experience was wonderful and I can’t wait to be back!

Please note, this review is for New Year’s Eve, where there was a pre fix menu, so this was not a regular night of service. That said we had a very disjointed time and the restaurant was definitely not ready for the evening.

Service: our server seemed confused by what each of us had ordered and what wine we wanted to go with the pairing as each dish landed with someone else. The meal took about 2 1/2 hours. Most of it was waiting for food.

Food: all of the portions were irretrievably small and perhaps looked like they were made far ahead of time? I ordered the rigatoni pasta and the pasta came out with mainly noodles and just a hint of sauce, no identifiable pork Ragu. My wife had the mushroom risotto which didn’t seem as if it was fully cooked and was very bland tasting.

Atmosphere: the space is quite exquisite and makes very very homey and cozy feeling. The decor is elegant and table settings were impeccable.

The menu did not disclose that the tip would be added on automatically despite the fact that the table was only for four people. So adding 20% to a very marginal meal is tough to swallow.

Such a cute spot! It’s very noisy inside so I’m glad we got a table outside, the ambiance is calm with twinkly lights and jasmine bushes. The staff is friendly, the drinks are creative and tasty, and the food is delish. Highly recommend the lamb!

As a person who has been in the restaurant industry for 30yrs it can be hard to impress me. But The Chateau hit the mark. We had a reservation for 6 people on a busy Friday night and our table was ready and the hostess was welcoming. Our server Louis was exceptional. He was super attentive and charming without hovering. He was patient with answering questions and making recommendations both from the kitchen and bar. The food was fantastic. We ordered nearly 1 of everything on the menu and it was all very good.

This was my first time at this restaurant and my husband was excited to take me there. We had the honor and privilege to have Elaina as our server and she was the most genuine, kind, and caring person. I wanted to make sure her manger knew it and I spoke with her and I could tell the culture that they are creating here. Please check out this spot it is well worth it!

Chateau is a downtown Walnut Creek favorite if you’re in the mood for a refined but relaxed dining experience with a European twist. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s a great choice for date night, cocktails with friends, or a celebratory dinner.

The menu features a mix of small plates, charcuterie, elegant entrees, and seasonal offerings — perfect for sharing or savoring at your own pace. The cocktails and wine list are thoughtful and well-crafted; we particularly enjoyed the creative martinis and pours that complemented the food beautifully.

We had a lovely dinner with a mix of charcuterie, a fresh salad, and a standout main, and everything was flavorful and artfully presented. The outdoor patio seating is a nice bonus on pleasant evenings, giving it a lively yet comfortable vibe.

Service was warm and attentive, and while the space can fill up quickly (especially on weekends), reservations make the visit smooth and enjoyable. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between classy and casual — elevated without feeling stuffy.
