Quaint bakery with a huge variety of fresh sourdough bread. There are tastings in the back. They also carry jams, jellies, olive oils, chocolates and other delicious treats. Worth a visit. Nov 2025

The breads here are delicious. They freeze well when vacuum sealed and placed in a deep freezer. The cranberry and the sourdough are our favorites. The donuts are massive and taste absolutely Devine!

Great place to all kinds of breads with different flavours, we got Tomato bruschetta , olive bread , maple Banana walnut. Also filled with local products jams, sauces and mustards (btw are amazing) friendly staff that are very helpful and knowledgeable! It was a great experience that will bring me back for years to come.

Nice store with plenty of local items such h has jams, honey. Maple syrup. Blueberry syrup, butter and cheese. They also make donuts, cookies, muffins and bread on site.

When Pigs Fly is a great place to get bread and other bakery items. But up until today they were my #1 recommendation for the best donuts and anytime we would go to Maine for a day trip we would race up to when pigs fly and get a canolli donut, or a chocolate Bavarian, Boston cream donut or even a blue berry pie donut(it was tradition). However today I was saddened to learn they no longer are making their own donuts which saddened me greatly. The new donuts aren’t bad but they are no where close to the level making their own donuts were on. And for that reason I can no longer recommend going up there early for donuts on Saturday. Their crumb cake and muffins are still amazing and made in house but I will definitely miss their homemade donuts. Nothing better than tasting all the love and effort they put into everything they make in house and buying a few loaves of bread and camp fire cookies. I am hopeful that some day they may come back, and when they do, so will I,

Amazing pizza, great COVID-safe outdoor seating, friendly staff!
This was an amazing stop midday from shopping at the Kittery Outlets! Located just a few minutes from the outlets, When Pigs Fly was allocated in a convenient spot and far off enough to be a change in scenery.
We got a a Margarita pizza (which was delicious ) and emjoued in their open field put front. They are super dog friendly! Our pizza was ready in about 10
Minutes on a busy Sunday of Labor weekend at 1 PM.
The bread store next to the pizzeria was also great, carrying different types of loaves that aren’t usually in stores. I’ll definitely be stopping by for dine I when I’m in the area again!

Came at this bakery many years ago and bought a chocolat bread. It is delicious when toasted on a fire camp! Just repeated this today. Nice bakery with many kind of breads and many other things.
