What a wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and our server, Sarah, was impeccable. The food is amazing. I was so excited when we received our A5 Wagyu tasting and Bo’s Tasting board that I literally forgot to take a picture, but rest assured some of the best steak and Kobi I have enjoyed. It’s an experience you will remember and very educational… The only thing better were the friends we shared with, we’ll be back. Alsco linen Service Thanks You for a memorable evening.

Bos Taurus doesn’t feel like dining in Bend – in a good way.
– 1st class impeccable service
– unique, flavorful dishes. My favorite was the scallop noodle
– great wine. Like, that’s some really great wine, man.

Expect to pay $$$ for the experience.

It’s great, you can tell everyone works hard to make a pleasant experience. I love an open kitchen, as chef I love seeing what’s happening. We only ate pre dinner menu and it was outta this world. Head chefs fry bread was the highlight of my date night! Compressing a Cesar salad?? Huh? AMAZING

Bartender was knowledgeable and polite. I will be back.

Probably the best New York strip I’ve ever had, done to medium rare perfection. They present a tray of steak knives to choose from, all with stories. Oysters melt in your mouth, fabulous sides. Service very attentive, always kept my water glass full. It’s a small restaurant, with very little seating inside. Also, save up if you’re eating here.. very expensive but for a special occasion, it’s truly perfect.

We went in for dinner on a weeknight. We ordered the chef’s tasting menu and we absolutely loved every item we ate, from the beef tartare to the wagyu. The tasting menu was appropriately spaced out to let us enjoy each course.
Service was excellent and every staff member who served us was pleasant and knowledgeable.
The chef was courteous and friendly.
Overall would definitely come back for dinner here! Thank you to the team at Bos Taurus for the wonderful night.

We had an amazing experience at Bos Taurus! We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was truly delightful. The chef’s excitement was palpable, and we loved how he showcased a variety of dishes, not just steak, which is the restaurant’s specialty. It was a wonderful surprise to see his creativity and passion shine through each course. A huge thank you as well to our server, Sarah, who was absolutely wonderful and made our evening even more special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

First steakhouse I’ve been to since moving here; it was a crazy splurge for me price wise, but WAS IT WORTH IT. Everything we ate was excellent – brisket bao buns, potato puree, another little thing I cant remember the name of, a strip loin & a flank. Even the pre-dinner bread and butter was a treat. I am very picky about how rare my steak is, and they cooked it to perfection. Excellent taste and texture. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgable, and overall it was a great experience. Picking your own steak knife is cute, too.

this was one of the best experiences I’ve had, I flew in from Colorado, I was impressed by their photos, but when I tasted their steak selection. I was beyond impressed. I’ll remember this place forever. Todd was incredible! He taught me about wine and steak in a way I’ll remember. I will bring everyone with me when I come back into town. thanks for the incredible dinner and experience!! See you soon.

A wise person once told me that when trying a new steakhouse, you should order the cheapest steak on the menu—if they cook that well, then you know the rest is worth exploring. My wife and I followed that advice and ordered the least expensive New York strip and ribeye, and neither of us was disappointed.
The Brussels sprouts and Yukon Gold potatoes were outstanding, and the cocktails were excellent—though I can’t recall exactly what we ordered from the menu. We ended the evening with their 1937 Port. It was delicious, though a bit overpriced in our opinion.
One practical note: reservations are a must. The restaurant fills quickly, so it’s worth booking at least a few days in advance to secure a good time.
Overall, our experience was very positive. We appreciated the coat service upon arrival, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean—exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
As for the most important question: would we spend the money to return? That’s harder to answer. Bend has an abundance of excellent dining options, and while our meal and experience here were truly enjoyable, we’d likely reserve this spot for special occasions rather than regular nights out.
