Oh yeah, this place is number one the best five guys in town so fresh they served me four minutes before closing and it was the best burger I’ve had. I cannot believe how fresh it was and the fries as well. Thank you very much guys.

I’ve always loved Five Guys but this visit really stood out because of the team that night, especially Maria. I stopped by on New Year’s Day around 7pm and the energy was just great.
Maria went above and beyond. Super kind, super helpful, and genuinely uplifting. The whole team was on point but she really set the tone and made the experience feel welcoming instead of transactional.
Food was great as always but it was the service that made me want to come back. Maria truly goes the extra mile and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

On the night of January 4th, around 9:10 p.m., I visited this restaurant to order food with my young daughter. The experience was extremely unpleasant due to the employee’s behavior.
From the beginning, the employee was rude, and it was evident that his annoyance was due to our arrival close to closing time, even though the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. While preparing the food, he used profanity and complained to another coworker, telling them that I should go to Chipotle instead, assuming I would not understand the language—when in fact, I understood perfectly.
His attitude was discriminatory, disrespectful, and racist. As a result, my daughter felt unsafe and frightened, which is completely unacceptable in a family-oriented establishment.
I filed a complaint immediately, but as of today, Tuesday, January 6th, I have not received any response, which only increases my disappointment and frustration.
I am deeply disappointed by the treatment we received and believe that this type of behavior should never be tolerated under any circumstances.

This location has great service and a very friendly and helpful staff. It’s five guys so by now you know what to expect regarding the taste and recipe. Over priced burgers and everything ala carte. At least you always get a lot of fries. If you like five guys this is a good one as far as the staff goes. It’s well ran and very clean.

Had a really longgg day at work and these employees made it all worth for me to just walk in an see them smiling so beautiful and so helpful the woman with the dreads took my order she didn’t rush me!!! Kept a smile and the guy with the dread came out an clean an kept being sooooo nice and friendly and it was very clean and to the cooks the food was outstanding ❤️❤️

Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by a team of four dedicated individuals, three gentlemen and one young lady, whose names unfortunately slipped my mind but whose professionalism and helpfulness certainly did not. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. It’s clear that cleanliness and hygiene are top priorities for this establishment, which is always reassuring for customers.
When it came to the food, I was thoroughly impressed. After explaining my previous negative encounter at a different location, the staff took extra care to ensure that my meal was not only fresh but also prepared with the utmost attention to detail. Each bite was a testament to the care and dedication put into crafting every item on the menu.

I visited Five Guys at 2490 Market St NE, Washington, DC 20018, on June 19, 2025, and was extremely disappointed. The staff exhibited a nasty attitude, with one employee handling fries cursing loudly in front of families and small children. The atmosphere felt hostile and unfriendly. Requests were met with eye rolls and curt responses, ruining what should have been a casual meal. Cleanliness seemed secondary as tension hung in the air. I cannot recommend this location based on the rude behavior and lack of consideration. I expected better customer service. One star: please avoid unless improvements are made promptly.
