I headed south to White Center for a concert at Tim’s Tavern and dinner. The tavern has the rustic look of an old-timey saloon with wood panels walls. Inside the tavern is one medium-sized room with a stage at one end and a bar at the other with plenty of seating. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. The chicken was crispy and flavorful with lots of veggies. The fries were crispy and tasty. Overall, a very good meal with good service and a great place to watch a show. They also have an extensive vegan menu.

I’ve driven past this neighborhood bar so many times, always curious about the great music pouring out. Finally joined a group of friends to support one who was participating in open mic. Had a great time. Vibe was fun, food was solid (smash-b and a Caesar), the beer was fresh, and nice pour on the spirits. Will definitely be back. Lots of publicity about the TIMS mission and I’m happy to support it. My kinda place!

Stopped in for a drink during a car show. First time in this bar and we were surprised at how cute this set up was in the back. Perfect day for outdoor patio seating. We had some shots and a couple margaritas. Drinks were quite spendy for as small as they were. Staff was really nice, both inside the bar/restaurant and outside bar. Also ordered a Seattle dog and some tots. Tots were good. Very crispy fresh out of the fryer. The Seattle dog was okay, nothing special and very underwhelming. They had a stage inside and outside and some pinball machines Will definitely come by again if/when we’re in the area!

Fun tavern vibe in White Center. They have what seems like an identical copy of the menu that offers everything in vegan form.

Had the smash burger, and although it was tasty, it wasn’t really a smash burger… More of two small thin burger patties. Bacon add-on was thick and not cooked as much as I usually prefer.

Fries were crispy and good.

Outdoor covered seating with heaters or indoor seating with live music available.

Small free parking lot or free street parking available.

Music club with commitment, a scene supportive place. Great food. I had a smash burger and fried chicken taco. Reasonable prices. A good time for music crew.

Good bar food menu (salads, burgers, sandwiches, hotdogs, tacos, and fries) at reasonable prices. Burger was good, but not great. Apparently the chicken burger was great.
Standard selection of drinks, with a good variety of beers.
There was a “School of Rock” live event going on so it was pretty loud and busy inside for a Saturday lunch. Good to see people supporting live music and kudos to Tim’s Tavern for welcoming a group like “School of Rock.” The revolving cast of band members put on a good show.

I have to give a raving 5-star review for the excellent customer service Tim’s Tavern provided me and my wife. We came to the venue and paid $40 in entrance fees to see a show my friend was performing in. Then, the employee helped us realize we were actually next door to the venue she was performing in. I was very disappointed in the mix-up, but the employee took down my name and information. We went to the show next door. A few days later I got refunded without having to follow up. This is rare, one of a kind customer service and I will be coming back to patron the establishment, and recommend it to others. Thank you, Tim’s Tavern team, for showing such customer care when you didn’t have to.

There is a ton of love about this place! The food is delicious and there are tons of exciting options for folks with various dietary restrictions. I loved the beet, Yes I said beet pastrami sandwich! My husband get the real pastrami and I liked mine better. The service is great, should put to Rachel! Super on it, warm and professional. We felt welcome at every turn with everyone we talked to. The trivia night is really fun, the host is one of the sweetest people ever and handed out candy! Shout out to Ellen with Sporcle Trivia. They do live music here and we haven’t gone for that but will definitely return for more tasty food, Great drinks, lovely atmosphere and good times.

Update: The owner Mason reached out immediately after I wrote my last review. It was refreshing to see an owner who cares about his business & customer experience. He sincerely apologized & said he dealt w the employee issue as I wasn’t the first one to complain. My friends & I went back a week ago & had a great time. Great band & cute tavern atmosphere. The bar was a bit under staffed so a long wait to order drinks but I think that’s expected these days. I appreciate that he’s very involved w the community. We will come back again & support the business. Thank you for following up w me.

Original Review: The old guy (all white hair) at the door was extremely rude & condescending to us women last night at 7:30 (9/19/25 fri) when we asked if there was a cover charge which we were willing to pay. All six of our friends (men & women) were so stunned & turned off by his treatment in the way he spoke to me, we all decided to go somewhere else. Tim’s Taverns owner should be aware that you have a person representing your place at the door who is turning people away. Bad for ur business!

Criminally underrecognized! Full vegan menu for my discerning wife. Great staff. And the soul band playing Thursday nights is terrific!
