After a day exploring SXS trails of Florence we decided to check this place out looking forward to some deliciousness per previous reviews. We we’re extremely disappointed nothing Irish about the food except maybe the cornbeef and cabbage my husband had. Party of 2 beef stew with maybe 4 pieces. Chicken and beef pot pie nope not a pot pie at all more like stew with a dried hard biscuit on top again no meat. Desiree tried to make things right taking the unliked meatless meals off our tabs. She even comped a slice of Baileys cheesecake and chocolate cake for us. Cheesecake had really strange taste and the Chocolate cake was stale, hard and extremely dry. Definitely won’t be returning here better options in the area.

My buddy and I took a chance and rode up to Florence from Tucson to check out this place. We were not disappointed. What a neat place. The traditional Irish food was delicious. My buddy got the corned beef, and I got the Full Irish breakfast. Both were A+, especially paired with a Guinness. My only gripe was that I wanted more food with the Irish breakfast for $17. It came with one of each item, whereas the review photos show two of each item. If there was an option to double the portions, I didn’t see it. However, that won’t stop me from going back. Still delicious, thank you.

Between Scottsdale and Tucson there are very few places to meet someone in the middle, but we had heard that the Irish Cowboy was pretty cool and it’s close to halfway!
We met friends from out of state there and I had booked a rez for 6, but even without it we would have been fine. We had lunch on a Wednesday about 1.
We were welcomed warmly and drinks were there in minutes. They have an extensive menu with many intriguing options and we sampled a lot of them.
Burgers are a half pound and all got rave reviews. The sandwiches were hefty and tasty also.
Only after the tabs were being paid did we find out that our server was just about to complete 2 doubles in 2 days! She was as friendly as if she’d had 2 days off prior.
Good drinks, great atmosphere and overall great experience. We’ll be back for more!
Nice work folks!

Update: I’ve gone back three times since then… this place is phenomenal and the service is exceptional. There’s RV parking a block away! I went in tonight and there was bingo and it was so much fun everybody at the bar we were all talking and laughing and rooting for each other to win at bingo. Sarah was the bartender and she was awesome. This place is a gem. The food was so delicious. It reminded me of my Irish grandma.

Such friendly people the food was great. Went there for St. Patrick’s Day and had a great time.

I just recently discovered that this place existed, my husband and I came here for date night and I can’t wait to come back for another one. I found this Irish pub so charming, the food was delicious! Especially the Bailey’s cheesecake and their Guiness on tap is to die for. We loved the live music and overall atmosphere, if you haven’t been you need to check it out!

The only bar/restaurant open on Main Street on a Sunday, they made a very good Irish Coffee. Our waitress seemed new and wasn’t quite familiar with the menu or how to print a receipt. Poutine was good, but we had to ask that it be heated. Overall an okay stop and we’ll probably try again when we’re in the neighborhood.

We ate at The Irish Cowboy today as a family with our boys and it was amazing, best meal we’ve had eating out in such a long time! We went early for dinner hoping to avoid a dinner rush and it was perfect timing. We didn’t have high expectations for the kids menu, we were told they only had chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese, but we were so surprised these were seriously the best chicken nuggets ever!! Our older son ordered the Corned Beef sandwich and it was so delicious, the meat literally melted in your mouth. My husband got the Bangers and Mash and loved it, it was very hot and flavorful! I ordered the Shepherds Pie and it was amazing, also the fanciest Shepherds Pie I’ve ever had I loved every bite! Our server Tyrone was extremely nice and attentive, he even helped me find out how I can order the yummy soda bread by the loaf. The soda bread is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had and I would gladly purchase it by the loaf, it’s soooo good and I think a loaf of their soda bread would make a great gift so I hope they consider selling it by the loaf regularly!

At first, we were confused the google listed this restaurant out of town unless there are 2 locations. Loved that the waitress had an Irish accent. Loved the Guinness beer! I liked the pot roast. Wish it was a bigger bowl. The soda bread was already died out. That happens. The fish and chips had a weird taste like the oil was bad they fried it in. Strangest tasting coleslaw ever! Like pulled pork.

THE BEST EVER Reuben sandwich I have ever had in my life. My husband ordered the Fish & Chips said the same THE BEST! Then the biggest surprise was my picky eater son, who had the BLT & said hands down THE BEST he ever had! We’re no spring chixs & we’re a bit hard to impress….we will be back & bringing family & friends! Seriously delicious! Also the beer was ice cold, a bonus!
