This was a really good sub… I had the Italian with a cup of chili. The sub was really good, I really enjoyed it. The chili was surprisingly good. The service was what earned my 5 stars. The lady who took my order was awesome she loved her Jodi and that is a rare find at a fast food restaurant. I would go back just to watch her work. The subs are worth the trip back too

Walked in a few minutes after 9, probably 915. Not greeted by any of the 4 employees. Store was being swept while our food was made with dirt flying everywhere. Weren’t offered a combo or anything. Cashier was not aware of when the baked goods were made and kept looking back at co-workers as if he was looking for what to say. I felt like telling him that I was sorry he has to work and do his job to earn money.

Loved the sub, always have, they could expand more on outdoor seating and the upkeep. The inside gets so steamy from everything cooking at lunch. Lots of to-go orders seems like. We liked it.

I tried to order online but it wouldn’t send through, so I called in. Firehouse has a buy 1 get 1 free sandwich online. When I there to pick up my food the lady told me there was no sale and it must be an online thing. Firehouse dropped the ball on this one. It should have been a statement saying online only. Hopefully the lady wasn’t lying to me.

My Girlfriend, Mother and I recently got Firehouse Subs. My all time 2 favorite Subs from Firehouse are the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket and the New York Steamer. However, this time I ordered the Firehouse Chili because it is getting cooler weather and why not change my normal a little. However, my Girlfriend wanted the N=ew York Steamer because it is “Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing.” Whereas my Mother always gets the Hook & Ladder, it is her Favorite go to at Firehouse Subs. Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, The Staff are friendly & helpful.

I have always loved firehouse and never really had a complaint. but my husband stopped yesterday on the way home to get a sandwich, if you can actually call it a sandwich. bread was hard and you could hardly call this tuna. Don’t know if they are having a shortage or what but this is ridiculous. very disappointed, as this is not their usual type of service

Excellent sub shop! Conveniently located in the heart of Fountain City. This was our first visit, so I really appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Quick service, and the sandwiches were superb! Soft wheat bread melted in my mouth, unlike so many places where the bread can be tough. I chose the honey ham, and it was warmed just right. Hubby chose the smoked beef and cheddar brisket, both sandwiches were delicious! Good prices, especially for the combo meals. A return trip is guaranteed!
