After rediscovering Heyday, I think I’ve been back about 6 times. Everything has been consistently great! Fabulous onion rings (sadly not available on Sunday brunch menu). Every burger has been delicious! Great flavors, cooked perfectly, and good ingredients.

Service was excellent, from the cheerful hostess who seated me, to the water runners, waitress, and food runner. It made me immediately want to return, before I even got my food.

I ordered the codwich and tater tots, plus a beer. All were excellent, although I was so full from the sandwich I barely touched the tots.

On a side note, it’s so nice to have these neighborhood restaurants, instead of having to head to a large urban center.

I’ll be back!

This place – the folks that work there, the food, the vibe – is utterly delightful. We’ve been coming here since they opened, and it’s always been consistently good. That’s all. 😉

Nice neighborhood bar and restaurant with original offerings. The bison burger is flavorful and will be ordered next time as well.

The Blackened cauliflower is great. Nice sauce.
Fries are half and full size.

We had the house Red Shiraz, nice.
The Holy Mountain wheat beer with orange and mango is flavorful and good.

Happy hour is all day Tuesday, plus Wednesday to Saturday 4 -5:30.
Sunday Brunch on Sunday 9:30 – 2 pm

Heyday has the best chicken wings! My husband and I love coming here every week—it’s one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food never disappoints; the banh mi burger is incredible, and the spicy margaritas are the perfect pairing. The staff are always really kind, making each visit feel special. We’re so glad to have this gem nearby!

So, this place has been on my “to try” radar for a bit and finally the stars aligned for me to go.

First, let’s talk about atmosphere. There’s PLENTY of parking so don’t worry about that. The interior harkens to a typical PNW wood interior style. However, unlike the others it’s not super dark which means you can still see the menu and admire your food.

Second, let’s talk about the staff. When I went, I was the first one there so I was able to chat with the bartender. He was very nice and engaging enough without being overly talkative. After ordering my food, I was able to enjoy it for a nice amount of time which I loved! As I ate, others came in and were quickly sat.

Lastly, the food. I ordered a lingering special cocktail (Spicy Pineapple Margarita). After it was presented to me, I was in awe. It looked like a piece of artwork. So, I was eagerly ready for the food. I chose the Verde Burger with roasted Poblanos, hatch chile relish, queso and chipotle aioli on a 1/3 pound patty. Every single bite was pure bliss. The taste was a symphony of flavors. The tots were expertly cooked and while crispy, avoided the “tear apart the roof of your mouth” tots I’ve had at other places.

The only negative was that I personally felt the bun should have been toasted in order to hold up to some of the “wet” ingredients.

If you haven’t gone here, you must!

Brunch is delicious. I always get Johnny Cakes — savory pancakes. Sausage good too. Coffee good, and the team is really friendly.

Heyday was a super relaxing brunch experience on our early June Sunday. The dishes we tried were tasty and the drinks refreshing. Service was congenial and quick, and the atmosphere was well decorated as well. Would come back and visit again.

Stopped to try out their weekend brunch. I took the pancakes which were soft, fluffy and absolutely amazing. I took a side of sausages and bacon as well which were okay. My wife got the barley pork belly bowl with sunny side up eggs. This was also very good. The place was not super busy on a Sunday morning and I see most tables had the pancakes so I am guessing that was the favorite. Do try the pancakes and I will definitely come back again to their burgers.

Awesome clean place. Tables were clean and the hostess were very friendly.
Food was delicious, I tried Verde burger and my partner got the spicy chicken burger and we both were delighted with the taste. One area of improvement could be, for the price tag, maybe a bigger portion size or at least a side of fries would have been great!
