I really like Mccalister’s for a tasty meal!

FOOD> I roll around different salads as they always are so tasty, have fresh ingredients, and are generous portions.
Pictured here is one of my favorites the Pecan berry salad Fresh strawberries and blueberries, candied pecans and grilled chicken, served with Fat-Free Raspberry-Pecan Vinaigrette dressing.
I can never decide whether I like this salad or the Southwest chicken salad (Grilled chicken, roasted corn, poblano and black bean relish, red onion, tomato, cheddar-jack, blue corn tortilla strips, avocado on mixed greens.) the BEST!
I chose this restaurant as we had a visitor who is gluten free and there is a menu with clearly marked options.
Everyone has something different from potatoes to nachos and each person was VERY satisfied with their meal and remarked about what a fantastic choice this was!
The sweet tea was fantastic also

SERVICE> The service is always friendly and helpful at this location. All the meals came out quickly and each order was made perfectly.

ATMOSPHERE> This restaurant is well laid out with sections to give all sorts of different groups the chance to enjoy fellowship with a bit of strategic privacy. there are booths and high and low tables of different sizes to accommodate all manner of groups and you order and pay at the register so it’s perfect for groups.
We even saw some folks taking a selfie in front of the Clemson wall to support the Tigers.

VALUE> As the servings are very generous and they are enough for two meals I would say this is a great value.

LOCATION> Great location with ample parking, even right up at the door for those who need that. They also have plenty of handicapped spaces.

I highly recommend McAlister’s and hope you enjoy their fine food and lovely Southern hospitality!

Good lunch spot for a larger group

Service: Team members are incredibly welcoming. A team member will call you forward and provide specific product recommendations for you if you need help. The day I visited was for a special offer through T-Mobile and they had signs notifying customers how to navigate that process.

Quality/Value: The food seems much fresher than other fast food stores. The quality of the food is good, and their signature tea is excellent. Unfortunately, I have to mention that the prices are a bit absurd. For a half sandwich, chips and a drink your order will be near $20. That’s just not a great value comparatively.

The Vibe: It is very clean. It’s loud. Counter service. Orders are processed quickly.

Pro Tip: This is a great place for large groups. Parking can be a challenge due to the Publix nearby.

Bottom Line: Clean spot for lunch with a bigger group. Good food, but be ready to spend!

Honestly their food was better a year or two ago but we do still eat here. I think the potatoes are your best option. The deserts always tastes a little off, I think they just leave them open with whatever’s in the refrigerated section. At least for the cheesecakes. They’re always very nice and the service is excellent

For the price of the salads there is very little meat portions.Customer service not pleasant at all.The workers act like they don’t even want to be there. The bacon is the thinnest bacon you can possibly serve. Potatoes aren’t loaded like the pictures they barely give you toppings.

Very delicious and gives you a sense of healthiness even though it was probably a lot of calories. This was the chicken cranberry pecan salad and I can’t remember the sandwich but it did have some mango sauce on it.

Large selection of soups, salads, sandwiches but, check the nutritional content on the website especially if you are on a reduced salt diet. Everything is loaded with salt including the salads. Very disappointing from a healthy perspective.
