First time here this past weekend. It was good but not great and pretty pricey since everything is À la carte. I know this establishment is known to be more “ upscale” compared to other local Korean BBQ restaurants in the area…. But it’s just in the looks, the restaurant is upscale looking inside, a bit too dark though and quite small. The food was good but the portions are quite small and the same grade as the other places around the area. I personally ordered Bulgogi and received Balgi instead. It was chewy and took way too long to cook as their cooking areas are the opens grate style which makes the cooking process too long and too uneven. I’m glad I didn’t receive the bulgogi though because it just looked like a piece of flank steak… not the kind of bulgogi I’ve had at any other restaurant. Our server was very nice though and very attentive. So to sum it up, it’s a one and done for me… it’s good but you can get better for cheaper in the area.

We loved it here! The atmosphere was beautiful. Our server was great. All of the food we had was really delicious. My personal favorites were the squid and marinated galbi. The sauces that accompanied the meal were also great. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes!

Kore Steakhouse has become one of our go-to spots for Korean food whenever we’re in Sarasota, and it never disappoints. We’ve worked our way through most of the menu: bone marrow, KFC, egg soufflé, yukhoe, yellowtail crudo, kimchi jjigae, japchae noodles, marinated galbi, ribeye, picanha, pork collar (to name a few) and every single dish has been delicious. The quality is consistently excellent, and we always leave completely stuffed and happy. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great, and dishes are served promptly and prepared beautifully. Reservations are definitely recommended, as they tend to fill up during peak hours. Always a fantastic experience!

Kore is a great date night option! Lauren was our server, and took great care of us, she was very attentive, helpful and extremely friendly. We had cheese corn and tuna crudo for our appetizers and they were both delicious. The tuna was very fresh, and cheese corn was great as well. For our entrees we had spicy pork bulgogi, chicken thighs and Australian waygu. All were very flavorful and great quality but the waygu stole the show! We love Kore and cannot wait to come back!

Julia was a fantastic server. Manager kept checking in on us every one was very attentive and helpful. It was a special anniversary and they made it lovely. Food was amazing and experience was so fun! Made a reservation in order to not wait for a table.

Very nice place for Korea BBQ located at waterside. The experience was very fun and you get A LOT of food. We loved the cheesy corn, the noodles were super tasty, and my husband and I loved the Austrian wagyu and were excited they had this as we prefer it over Japanese wagyu.
The Koko drink was super tasty, and they have a lot of similar drinks to the JPAN restaurant at UTC, so I’m wondering if they are under the same management, as we love that place too!
This is a great spot for a special dinner such as anniversary, birthday or other celebrations or if you are just looking for something different and interactive!

We had an amazing Wednesday dinner experience at Kore and it is truly authentic Korean BBQ. The quality of the food, the flavors, and the overall experience felt genuine and traditional. Yay!! Our server, Eunice, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and she explained everything clearly. Because of her, the experience felt comfortable, welcoming, and special.

Our first visit to Kore Steakhouse was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we sat down, our server Sebastian made the experience exceptional. He took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the different options, and make thoughtful recommendations that made our first visit easy and enjoyable.
We ordered the Butcher’s Pride meal for two, and it was incredible. The meats were unbelievably tender and packed with flavor. Since we got to cook them to our own liking right at the table, they were perfect! The meal also came with a wonderful assortment of sides and accompaniments — delicious sauces, dumplings, rice, and more — each one adding something special to the experience. The portions were extremely generous; there was so much food that we easily have enough left for another meal!
To top everything off, the staff surprised my wife with a special dessert to celebrate her birthday, which was such a thoughtful and classy touch.
Between the outstanding service from Sebastian, the incredible quality of the food, and the warm hospitality, everything about the evening was amazing. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the Lakewood Ranch area, and we can’t wait to return.

We got the Wagyu set menu $185 . I asked the server about the grade of Japanese Wagyu and his answer is A5 .The Japanese wagyu is A5 without question. The Australian Wagyu that I will say it’s about M6 but still with good quality. Pretty good quality of the meat but the others I don’t recommend like the cheese corn , green onion salad …..they are so cheap to come with the Wagyu .

We ordered the braised short rib and bulgogi, and both dishes were outstanding—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the salad served beforehand was excellent, fresh and well-seasoned.
