What a place!! Found it one random afternoon with my family and it’s been a fan favorite since. Even though it feels like it’s tucked away in the middle of nowhere, the second you step through the doors it gives this cozy, almost Tuscan vibe that instantly makes you want to stay a while. There’s some what of an old school Italian charm but still modern enough that it works for a family night out, date night, or even just grabbing a drink at the bar. And speaking of the bar—it’s huge, lively, and always stocked. Between the fun atmosphere, live music nights, and their rotation of specials, there’s always something happening that makes it worth coming back to.

The food is honestly what sealed the deal for us. I’m absolutely obsessed with their large meatball (no idea the name) but its cheesy and flavorful, soo good. It’s one of those “must order” things every time, but it literally feeds 4 people, or one person a few times. Their pastas are consistently on point, with generous portions and sauces that balance comfort and freshness. I’ve tried a handful of their dishes over time and haven’t been disappointed once.

Service here too deserves its own mention, because it’s been nothing short of wonderful every visit. The staff are always sweet, attentive, and consistent—you never feel forgotten about, even on busy nights. Drinks come out quickly, food is timed well, and everyone has that genuine friendliness that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. It really adds to the welcoming atmosphere (:

This restaurant is amazing. I brought my friend here for her birthday and I don’t regret it. I had never been. The food was amazing. The Mile High Chocolate cake was ridiculously high. I believe 5 layers! I will definitely return. I read that on Tuesdays they have an all you can eat taco buffet!

Super rushed service made for an unrelaxing experience. My friends had just finished their meals when the busser quickly cleared everything from the table—except my plate because I was still eating. The bread basket was also taken away even though I would have liked some while finishing my meal.

So there I was finishing my dinner with nothing left on the table while my friends sat there with their take-home bags. Clearly the priority was turning the table over quickly.

This place is excellent! We really enjoyed the food and the service! The lasagna was super meaty, big, and delicious!

Food was ok. Eggplant fries appetizer was great. Saltimboca and carbonara were metza metza. Very lively and fun atmosphere. Live music that had a karaoke vibe. Servers were pretty frantic the whole time but working hard and doing a good job. We all felt somewhat rushed. 2 minutes after entree came the server asked if we were still picking. We all had full plates of food. If it was just that, I wouldn’t have given it a second thought, but then the check was put on the table simultaneously with dessert. I understand the need to turn over tables, but at 8pm I don’t think anyone else is coming in for dinner. Unfortunately, I will not be in a rush to return.

I was a first time patron. Atmosphere is great. Quahig stuffies were wet and lacked a tolerable taste, very salty. I ordered Salmon and on my 2nd bite my tongue was scratched by a metal shard likely a brillo pad. The hostess/ Manager approached the table to apologize. When I informed her I was ready to go she still returned with a $28 bill for the awful stuffies and 3 oysters. I had no problem paying, she had my card in hand to swipe it. But after finding metal in my food it is shameful to no comp the rest of the meal that had no alcoholic beverages. She reluctantly agree to comp the meal after I told her this was poor customer service. Multi million dollar company that was did want want to accept fault! Just shameful!

We have been coming to Tomatoes pretty regularly for a while now—and we generally leave good, if not great, tips. Food is generally good. Service, however, is spotty. At the front door podium, Carol will sometimes welcome us and other times completely ignore us (even when she has no distractions). By now, she knows us. Also, getting service from the bartenders is becoming hard because they are busy talking to more frequent customers (than us). (And, by now, they know us too.)
It’s a shame. We like this restaurant. However, there are plenty of other restaurants on the Cape that serve good food well.

The best Italian restaurant! Scallops and pork belly appetizer is fabulous. Short ribs, surf and turf are amazing. Fun and delicious cocktails. Maureen was the most helpful and attentive waitress! Can’t wait to go back.

Wow, what an amazing meal! You can tell they have met their calling with the food, atmosphere, and amazing employees. For breakfast, you must also try their other restaurant called Nana’s (Anna’s lol). You can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch, or dinner with this family!
