One Persons Opinion
The Donuts (“Do nots” eat more than 2) are very yummy. I see, I could easily eat my 2, yours and probably the couples seated at the next tables.
I’m not sure if they sell mocha etc, but they do offer a free cup of drip if you buy two and eat in the shoppe. (At least that offer was made to me) I’m not a big fan of drip coffee but the offer was appreciated.

The donuts are amazing! They are huge, soft, and stuffed with fillings (bought the stuffed donuts only). Parking is tight and it is a nightmare to get out of the parking lot, but the donuts are worth the effort. I’ve been craving them since someone gave me one.

Updated: Since you asked why I didn’t give you a 5 star review…..When we walked in the store 5 minutes before it’s closed. A staff came out and said, “We are actually closed for business.” We responded, “The sign says ‘Open’ and the door is unlocked.” I was going to get other baked goods but because of what he said I just rush and browsed through the baked goods and didn’t get anything other than 2 donuts. I can’t speak for my sister-in-law, but I didn’t feel welcome and it was my first visit too. Other than that the donuts were good.
We went there 5 minutes before they closed and the only donuts left were two peanut bismark donuts. We didn’t eat them until the next morning and they were still good. I’ll go back and try something else next time.

The food is always fresh when I go there in the morning. The donuts and cinnamon rolls are very soft and taste good. The workers are all incredibly nice people and make it nice to go there.

We have just moved to Valpo so I ordered these donuts with out ever having even been and I am so happy we went with this bakery. The lady I spoke to on the phone (I think she was a manager or the owner) was so nice and helped me pick out the donut for our party theme. The price was great and they were SOOO delicious!!! We will definitely be back

When this was the original Amish shop, the pastries were amazing in taste and size. With new owners, the size has shrunk and the prices increased. Nice people. Sad changes. Not worth it.

Large selection and made fresh daily. 4 star on atmosphere because no place to really sit. I have no idea how anyone would say these doughnuts are small. They are large with generous amounts of different fillings. They are addicting.
