I stopped in the other night for dinner at the bar and was glad I did. I took it as a good sign that there seemed to be a lot of local regulars, and even through I was a newbie I was made to feel very welcomed. I enjoyed all my food (cajun shrimp, salad and chicken piccatta) and the portions were plenty. The service was great and friendly.

Great local bar/restaurant. Wonderful small business, with great staff and atmosphere. Nice selection of food and and booze for you to enjoy. Outdoor seating when the weather is good. I’ve been a regular customer since I moved here and you won’t regret coming here for a meal or to take in a game.

Absolutely a great spot. We came from out of town – large group and they were so accommodating. The service was top notch, delicious cocktails and excellent food. What a meal! Highly recommend!

TLDR: Don’t bother.
Before rating, I usually go at least 3 times. I’m not a Karen, I always give places a chance. Here’s my experience:
Wait times for food were always long. 30 minutes for a wrap, blew my whole lunch break.
No drink specials. None.
Bartenders got my drink wrong 3 out of 4 times. (Captain and coke with a lime, not hard.) After 2 tries, they forgot the lime all 4 times, but got the drink right. 2 of 4 times they forgot to bring the water with it.
Hillsborough has a lot of places to eat. If I’m spending $40 on a sandwich and a drink, it should be good, period. Look at the photo of my burger and slaw and ask yourself if you’re okay spending $18 without tip and drink on that.
I ordered a burger and was given one single napkin the whole meal until I asked. As an ex server, come on… drop some napkins off.
All the food is mediocre but at the upper mid range of pricing, especially for the area.
The interior is dark as hell and very dated. I’m not Gordon Ramsey, I like dive bars, but damn… this place feels like my Grandma’s basement.

I rarely go out to eat because most of the time, the food is bland. HA! NOT HERE! When I tell you the food is AMAZING ! consistent, kind/friendly, and very knowledgeable people and to me, this is probably the best place I’ve eaten in Hillsborough and probably the first time I wasn’t uncomfortable in an environment. I felt everything was delicious. People are nice. Vibe is chill. 10/10 for sure!
