The customer service there was very good and accommodating and the atmosphere was really nice. Although the chips weren’t free like most Mexican restaurants. But a bowl of chips and queso is only four bucks. So I shouldn’t complain.
Also on Taco Tuesday their regular tacos are only $2 each. Which is a very good price!
Its a pay at the register taco place so its absurd that they have an autogratuity for parties of six. To begin with thats wild. She never mentioned that was the policy. And she tried to skip past that screen as quickly as possible to the tip screen so that we like “wouldnt notice” and she would get tipped twice. When I asked her about it she was very holier than thou. I dont anticipate going back.
While the queso was good, there was not enough queso to chip ratio. We had at least 3/4 of our chips left with no dip.
The hush puppies were ok, only got 4 of them. We went out of our way to come here & I wouldn’t recommend doing that.
The vibe was cool… except the huge tv with ads. Nothing like seeing a dog poop scoop advertisement when you’re eating lol.
The queso&chorizo with chips
Two orders of the birria tacos.
Enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the service was quite attentive and welcoming.
The chips and salsa were pretty good. Nice subtle heat with the salsa.
The queso and chorizo was pretty good. The chips are on the thin side so don’t let the quaso sit.
Unfortunately the birria tacos were just way to dry. The corn Tortilla was still completely yellow on the inside. Indicates , they were not dipped prior to going on grill top. The meat itself seemed like it was squeezed dry from any juice and flavor before getting tossed on.
Would not recommend coming here For those style of tacos, Unless you’re looking for disappointment.
We had the salsa dip sampler plater as our appetizer with the habanero mango, salsa, fire, roasted salsa, queso & Guac – all the salsas had so much favor and their queso dip was on the best I’ve ever had. I had the chicken tacos, my fiancé had Quesa Birria, and our friend had the bang bang shrimp – we shared and I must say every single one of them were delicious! My favorite was probably the bang bang shrimp. We also had the Taco Baby Margaritas and the Smoke Wagon cocktail – both were top tier.
Thank you for an amazing experience! We will be back soon!
Also family friendly, which is a major plus!
