For dessert we had Qalbloze (Heart of Almond) and wallah… just like back home. Soft, sweet, and rich with almond, not too heavy, not too dry — made with care.
The tea service was on point, calm and relaxing, and the place itself feels warm and welcoming. Clean, cozy, and comfortable, the kind of place you come to enjoy your time, not rush.
With Ramadan just two weeks away, I already know this place is going to hit different at night. Can’t wait to come back, especially after el adhan, for that late-night Ramadan vibe.
Definitely coming back.

We went to this amazing spot where we had the best burgers ever. The buns were soft and slightly toasted, the patties were perfectly juicy, and the flavors were just on another level. Every bite had the perfect balance of seasoning, sauce, and freshness honestly one of those burgers you keep thinking about long after you’re done eating.
The desserts, on the other hand, tasted delightful. They weren’t overpoweringly sweet, but they had good balance.
Service was VERY slow, which is crazy considering that my group and I were the only diners there. We waited for about 30-40mins before we were served.
Overall, you should definitely try this place — the prices are reasonable and the flavors are incredible. Highly recommended
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Aghati House in Harwood Heights, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We ordered a variety of dishes—a burger, shrimp platter, crêpes, and homemade gelato—and every item exceeded our expectations.
The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. You could tell it was made with care and quality ingredients. The shrimp platter was fresh and well-seasoned, offering just the right balance of flavors. The crêpes were delicate and delicious, and the homemade gelato was the perfect sweet finish to our meal—smooth, creamy, and clearly made in-house with love.
The portions were spot on—not too big, not too small—and everything was beautifully presented. Knowing the cook is from Turkey added a special touch to the experience; there’s an attention to flavor and detail that reflects real culinary passion.
On top of that, the wait staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear that Aghati House takes pride in both their food and their service.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area!
