My sister was visiting and needed a few ingredients for a Mexican dish she was going to prepare. I’d seen this market several times but had yet to check it out. It’s a very small market with a couple of small aisles crammed with canned goods. The market is old and not very clean. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it. However, the staff was nice!

This place is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! They’re Quesa Birria tacos are 10 out of 10 and comes in a huge portion, so you’ll have to be taking some home afterwards. Their chips come out warm and their salsa is a must try. The restaurant has a warm feeling with it when you step inside, and you’re always welcomed in.

Seriously the best — most underrated mexican food in Taft right now. The quesobirra tacos are amazing, the taco platter has more meat than tortilla, the beans are obviously made in house. Everything in this place is delightful, and they even have a io out back to sit in the shade on nice days. It’s amazing.
