These guys are savages in the kitchen… to the point that I spent $80 by myself. All their food is good. Their menudo is of the chain and their service is super chill and friendly. We ordered the Huevos con enchilada and were pleasantly surprised that it came with beans and tortillas as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive—friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
The portions were so generous that we brought home a chicken enchilada for dinner later, which was just as delicious.
We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

The food is absolutely amazing! We found this amazing restaurant in Katy and we will definitely be coming back! If you crave full flavored amazing Mexican food then this is the place to go. A true Jewel in Katy. The last time I had come was 15 years ago… this place just got better. The menu has improved, great choices, atmosphere, every single plate we tried was on point. The Ashley plate has a perfect amount of meat for a breakfast that’s if you are very hungry. The portion on the other plates was perfect. I always judge a place by their coffee. They’re basic coffee and it was on point. Did not need any sugar. The new management has definitely made this place a lot better than it was. Also, let’s not forget, the restroom was very clean and it smells great. If you want true, Mexican experience, Mr Juan will make sure you get it! Cannot wait to come to check out their dinner menu.
( P.s The pancakes are a must! They gave you two very large pancakes. We were impressed. You didn’t even need syrup. They are perfectly buttered and crispy on the outside, but fluffy in the inside)

This is my second time eating at this place. This time my wife and I ordered tacos. I ordered the tacos al pastor and my wife ordered the beef fajita street tacos. She shared one of her tacos with me and I shared one of mine. The fajita tacos are good, the meat is nicely seasoned and tender but my wife and I liked the al pastor tacos much better. I will be back to try their pozole and other dishes. Today was Wednesday and it was past the rush hour so there was barely anyone here. The restaurant looked clean and the customer service as good.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! This is place is delicious! I got the shrimp cocktail and I loved it. My spouse got the tacos Al carbon and he enjoyed it as well. The salsas are both great! Atmosphere is nice. The employees are extremely nice and accommodating. This is a must try for yourself!

This was my first visit since they changed ownership, decor, menu, etc. I wish they would change the name of the place all together. There was a very nauseating chemical smell when I walked in and it never went away. The atmosphere is definitely different, more minimalistic yet still very goofy. They did upgrade the booths and seating. I sat at the bar and ordered take away. Brandon was very nice and went over the menu and options with me. The menu is completely different and prices are higher than before. I was offered and given a complimentary frozen margarita because they didn’t get their license yet. The chips came with a red and a green sauce which were both good. I liked the pork tacos, and the tortillas were very good. I liked the rice. The refried beans were not edible. The chicken fajitas were dry and bland. It came with basic salad sides, pico and avocado (not guac). The tortillas for the fajitas were good but not given many. Overall it was not very impressive and I do have some sore feelings about losing the original Jalisco. I’ll likely give them another chance at a sit down experience.

I will say it once and I will forever keep saying that this restaurant is the type of place you go to where you wanna relax have some good drinks and eat with your favorite people. This restaurant has the best type of cooks in servers around. They are super sweet to you and treat you like family so Every time you walk in the door, they greet you as their own.
I highly recommend you trying their tacos and ask for their spiciest salsa for those who dare! Now don’t even get me started on those amazing margaritas lol all I have to say is make sure you’re there for a long time and a good time !!!
