I’m not sure why this place has a 4.2 star. The staff were so kind and welcoming, food is on point, and price point was great. We had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp ($16) and red curry with beef ($16)…just left and already planning our next visit.

This is my go to place when I visit Oregon. My goal is to try everything on their menu. I had Pad Phet last night with shrimp and it did not disappoint! So much flavor with just enough heat. Vegetables were crisp and the dish was even better the next day as if that’s even possible!

This restaurant is so good that there was an hour wait for food to come out of the kitchen. There are only 4 tables for seating in the place, so take out is better. Call ahead or use door dash, but the doors is good.

I was a regular here for over a year as I was new to the city. I found a family here in a strange sense. In a busy city with new faces everywhere, the cooks and wait staff and owners here were so reliable and kind that there were times i could count on them when i had nobody else. there was one day i was drugged by a stranger and the closest place i could pull over was Chang Thai and because i had been eating here regularly for a year they recognized something was wrong and they let me leave my car there after close so i could Uber to the hospita. i would come in with my service dog and on the day i had to put her down i had dinner her because it was my birthday. the love and care lives in these peoples eyes and hearts and i will forever remember their kindness and not to mention… theyre DELICIOUS FOOD. My go-to dishes were Tom Kha w fish sauce, Phad Thai (theirs is the best i have EVER had), and of course my daily meal was Panang Curry. I miss their food often but i had to move back home due to life circumstances. God bless this Thai family.<3

It’s barely edible. The yellow curry had giant chunks of carrots, a few onions, potato chunks and chicken strips. Consistency of chicken broth, about the same flavor too. The peanut sauce for our summer rolls was grey in color and smelled off. Can’t even look at it. Thank goodness my 9 month old doesn’t know what good Thai is. As he ate the majority. The pineapple fried rice tasted burnt. The pad Thai was a grease bucket. Not going here again.

Chang Thai is the only place we ever go for Thai food in the area! Food is amazing! Don’t sleep on the Thai iced coffee. Thai coffee is so much better than those chain coffees! Try it if you haven’t! Service is always friendly and fast! House fried rice is my go to, but they have a Khao Soi on their specials menu occasionally that is absolutely delicious✨️✨️

The mango red curry was bursting with flavor—seriously so good! And the Pad Thai? Easily the sauciest ever, in the best possible way. Super quick, friendly service too. So glad we randomly found this spot!
