Everything good. The older lady moved like a slug the younger girl was great, speedy and very polite. Recommend training staff to sense urgency when there’s a line of people.

I have been going to this location for many years and never had a bad experience until today. I ordered 2 subs with Denise. I asked her to warm the meat and cheese separately so the bread isnt toasted, she only warmed the meat so when I politely ask for her to add cheese on top she gave an attitude and mumbled under her breath to the store manager standing next to her. At which time they both laughed softly. Then at the check out I asked her to add a soda and she sighed, shook her head , put her fingers to her temple, said nothing and then told me the total. She was very rude and disrespectful. This is the first time seeing her, I don’t recommend anyone order with her because she has no sense of customer service.

So sad that this is the closest subway location to my house AND this location refuses to participate or inconsistently participates in the subway promotions. And I recently discovered that they charge about $3.00 more for “the beast” foot long than the location a few miles away on berryville avenue. I am also contacting subway HQ. So very extremely satisfied and would not be missing anything if this location closed.

I went there yesterday and there was one worker working named Eric. He asked if I had an online order and I said no. He said it will take a few minutes because he was preparing an online order. I told him to take his time. I was standing and waiting patiently for about 10 min. before another customer came in. Eric promptly took this gentlemen’s order and made his sandwich. Eric wouldn’t even look at me and I know he knew I was trying to get his attention. I never felt so disgusted in my life. I knew he didn’t want to serve me. But whatever his reason was I will never come back up this establishment. I didn’t cause a scene or said anything and just left after another 5 min of trying to get his attention.

Did a mobile order for two subs, one toasted one not toasted. Picked it up and got home and noticed both were toasted. Went back and instead of just making me the right sandwich, Jo looked through my order to prove me wrong, then had to call his manager to see how to handle the situation, then made me give him the incorrect sub back. He gave off an attitude as if it were my fault the sub was made incorrectly in the first place. Won’t be back soon.

This is by far the Best Subway in the Winchester Va area.
Always clean. The employees are always friendly….. their food prep area for making your order is always clean and well stocked with fresh items. We’ve never gotten a sub we didn’t like.
The employees acknowledge you as you enter and as you exit the restaurant.
WE WILL ALWAYS GIVE THIS SUBWAY OUR BUSINESS AND WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!!!

First of all, I love Subway. Second, this location has been very dissatisfying. There’s been some minor things here and there. The staff hasn’t been particularly great. A lot have been young and immature. One reviewer here said an employee basically didn’t say a word to them the entire time. Yeah, I remember him. It was pretty off-putting. One reviewer said they heard some not so kid-friendly language from the employees. Yeah, I’ve heard that pretty frequently too. This kind of stuff isn’t particularly professional, but I can get past that since this particular Subway is about 2 minutes from my house. I’ve started using the Subway app to save time and skip lines. But I’ve gotten to the point where unless I go to the location, and watch them make the sub, it is almost always wrong in some way or another. The final straw was yesterday/today. Sunday, March 15th, I used the app to order two subs. I ordered a little bit before 8:30 in the evening. I completed the order and paid on the app. The app said it would be ready at 8:45. This was perfect. I got there at 8:40. When I pulled up, the sign was off, lights were out, and the store was empty. The store wasn’t supposed to close until 9:00. I called the store and left a message and explained the I was in front of the store at normal operating hours, had already paid for a sub, but no one was there. I also left my number for a callback. This wasn’t great, but I thought that it would be taken care of today. Didn’t get a return call in the morning so I then decided to call myself in the afternoon. I called, and a lady picked up. This particular lady was very nice, but after explaining my situation, she didn’t quite know what to do, so she started talking to another lady who was there. I assumed that it may have been a manager, but I’m not sure. The lady I was on the phone with started repeating the things that I said to her. Unfortunately, I could very clearly hear everything the other lady was saying. She was acting like she didn’t believe what I was saying. Then she very loudly and somewhat rudely stated that they don’t take online orders after 8:30 because they close at 9:00, and that I shouldn’t have used DoorDash. This irritated me a bit, because she was accusing me of making a mistake that I could have prevented. Keep in mind, that this is still being repeated through the other (very nice) lady on the phone, I just happen to hear her talking. Eventually, the nice lady got a little overwhelmed and put the other one on. She was hostile with me, and irritable. She kept saying that I shouldn’t use DoorDash and that I need to order before 8:30. I did order before 8:30, and I used the official Subway app to do so, not DoorDash. (Also, why is she telling me not to use DoorDash anyways?) Even then, I was there, in person, before their scheduled closing time. Well before that time in fact. So whether I should have ordered online or not, I was there during business hours, and no employee was there for me to talk to. Eventually, she realized what I was saying and repeated numerous times that she would just have to tell the owner that no one was there. That didn’t particularly concern me, I just called to get refunded or to get the sandwiches (which is the solution that eventually happened after talking exhaustively to this employee). This review is turning into a bit of a rant so I think I will end here. Point is, I’ve had enough issues at this particular Subway that I’m just going to go to the one on Pleasant Valley even though it’s further away. They’ve always been professional, and the sandwiches have always been well-made whether I ordered through the app or not. Also, as far as I’ve experienced, they’ve always had their doors opened during business hours.
