This place is great the corn tortilla is delicious the chicken is grilled the suadero was good the steak was good the pastor was good they have green and red hot sauce that are delicious not to spicy the service was fast and friendly would definitely recomend the only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is the hours the close at 3pm every day but other then that I will be coming back any time I’m in town when y’all come thru Taylor tx give this guys a try

Hidden family-owned gem with a quaint, inviting atmosphere and, most importantly, really solid tacos. Didn’t expect anything in Taylor (working at Samsung) but these tacos along with their refreshingly addicting homemade sauces are top-notch, bursting with authentic flavors. For the foreseeable future, will be coming back to try out their other offerings like their breakfast tacos, tortas, burritos, etc. Good stuff that’s worth traveling for!

On our way to Burnet for a music festival and saw this cute little Taqueria off the highway. It’s a little hidden so don’t miss it, it’s worth it!
We wanted Mexican food but didn’t want to deal with a big sit down restaurant but also didn’t want fast food, so this fit the need perfectly. The staff was super nice and engaged in friendly conversation. The inside is intimate, clean and quaint, feels like you’re joining friends to try out their favorite foods.
We gobbled everything up and even got some food to go. Definitely stopping by the next time we’re in the area.

First time here and to be honest, the food was really good. It’s a small place but they have plenty of variety in their menu and everything was sooo good. I definitely recommend “El Tortazo”. I definitely recommend this place for Mexican food

I’ve moved to Taylor a few months ago and I’ve yet to explore every food spot and I’m glad this place exists. The tortillas are so good and carnes are well cooked. They seem to get busy during lunch time but other than that great service.

We had this place for lunch and I can say the food was pretty good . I don’t want to sound ugly but the portion size was for a kid not for an adult so had to order two tacos for the size of one and when you go you will see what I’m talking about. You will still pay more for the one taco even though it’s small .
For four small tacos it was about $19. But if you look at it at a norm I paid $19 for two tacos so it’s a little high .
I would recommend getting a plate and see if the price would be worth it .
I’ll go again just not to soon , not spending that kind of money on the daily.
With that type of pricing it’s more of a once a month type place .
Hope this helps out and if your the owner and read this maybe fill the tacos more or change the price or even maybe do a special on your slow days so it’s more affordable.
