This was our second visit to the Dairy Queen off Hampton in DeSoto, and it was another wonderful family experience. The service really stood out. The two young men working were so polite and very friendly. As a nice touch of service, they even brought my banana split right to our table. I got my absolute favorite dessert: a banana split loaded with hot chocolate fudge and strawberries, and it was perfect. The whole family was happy—my granddaughter loved her Oreo cookies Blizzard, and my wife enjoyed her hot fudge sundae. We also learned they have a discount on sundaes on Sundays! Great service and great treats. We will definitely be back.

Wanted to leave a review since they don’t have very great ones. They did have a long drive thru line that seemed like it was going slow so we decided to park and come inside. And they were very nice, we got our order pretty quickly for a Friday at dinner time. We ordered a choco dipped strawberry blizzard, a snickers blizzard, and the belt buster meal. I didn’t know that my strawberry blizzard only has chocolate on top so I asked for an extra side of chocolate dip and the guy was nice enough to give it to me complimentary. Their menu and building is a big out dated but it gets the job done.

Tried this DQ after an awful experience at DQ Red Oak. Dine-in area looks like they are either just moving in or moving out. Very few areas to sit and eat. Would have given only 1 star, but young lady at the counter proceeded to honor my wife and fix her up with an old fashioned DQ parfait: ice cream with layers of pineapple, chocolate and strawberry. Down side: pineapple and strawberry were old and had no taste. Such a disappointment.

Waited 20 minutes for 3 tacos AND didn’t get our free cone!!! Service sucks!! Originally wanted grilled chicken, they were out! Receipt machine isn’t working blah blah blah. Tacos soggy and fell apart when home! Place has gone DOWNHILL!!!!!

There was two cars infront of me at the drive thru. No exaggeration it took me 20 min to get 2 strawberry shakes and a blizzard. Also the blizzard was not blizzard tested just a top on it and not even identified. People behind me in line left. This was the first time at this DQ and it might just have been a bad day. But I will not come bk here.

Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru no other customers was there at all. I ordered the 3 tacos combo, the food looked absolutely disgusting, and after waiting that long for my order I was very dissatisfied. I didn’t even bother to ask for my money back, I drove off. Didn’t eat the food, just throwed it away. Will never go back again.

The restaurant was filthy!! My banana split had no toppings on it because they were out of strawberries, pineapple syrup, and pecans. They put the last bit of chocolate sauce on it. There were no discounts offered. This was at 645pm. Are you kidding me!!!

I love Dairy Queen, chili cheese burritos with a root beer float, my second time since last week. Last week was slow service and was given ice cream with no root beer but was charged. Today chili on burrito was terrible, sat in drive thru about 4 minutes or so without anyone coming to take my money till my burrito was ready to sit again for minutes till I drove around to front, got out to ask if he forgot my sundae to be told no strawberries so I decided Carmel is fine to then be told he’s working on it, to then it’s gonna be 5 to 10 minutes from another worker whom seemed unconcerned. My money then was refunded for the ice cream. David was trying to run both drive thru and front counter. He did a good job but needs to inform customers about the wait shortly after the order is placed if all possible..This happened last month but do believe in given chances. After tonight not sure if I’ll return back to the Desoto location. I’m disappointed and hungry from a half eaten burrito.ijs

DO NOT GO HERE!! I came around 7:50 pm there was a boy and a girl ( look like teens) that clearly didn’t even work there telling us they close. I seen them send others away. So I get in the drive thru. I’m struck in the drive thru for almost 20 mins we get to the microphone they say THEY CLOSED!!! So I went and parked. They allowed 2 cars I. Front of me to order there was a black lady in front of her they didn’t let both of us order but the person behind me got to?!!! Went back around she took my order then told me when I got us there they can’t ring any one out. There was a car in front and they got into an altercation and the girl tried to throw something at the man!!! This place needs to be shut down! I called the corporate number. My son is 6 and he even said they were so rude. They just wanted to hang out with their friends.
