Chile Poblano (combo)
Queso dip
The food is always excellent. I always order one or the other of the two above.
The Poblano plates (each or the combo comes with two) comes with two massive Poblano stuffed with cheese and meat, covered in cheese and a salad or shredded lettuce with guac on it.
The Plata Guadalajara comes with two plates with a single cheese filled Poblano, a burrito, a hard taco, a tostada covered in lettuce tomatoes sour cream, an enchilada, and some other rolled food items I forget the name of. It’s a lot of food..see photo
The entire meal with queso and one of the aforementioned combos , and drink, is right at 20$. The amount of food is just right….for two meals. I always choose one or the other I listed above and don’t have any experience with the others but from what I e seen they’re all very large and around 12-15 dollars. Well, well worth it.
The restaurant staff are always great and punctual and the food is some of the best and consistent of any Mexican restaurants in Huntsville. What the menu says is what you get, and you know what it will taste like before you even order it, as consistent as they are.
I’ve never had a bad experience here. Frankly, it’s one of the best and most underrated Mexican restaurants in Huntsville. Some of the best food. And 100% best food for the dollar, even with the higher food prices we see these days.
If you haven’t been, at least give it a shot. You may find yourself here way more than expected once you do.
Despite the presence of at least five other Mexican restaurants along the route, its worth my 25 minute drive just to enjoy their beans and rice. The distinct taste and quality of all their items make the extra travel worthwhile.
The salsa is so tasty that it isn’t uncommon for me to purchase a quart to take home.
One visit, one taste, is all it takes to become hooked on this restaurant’s offerings, making it a memorable and compelling dining choice.

I ordered an enchilada dinner and it was very good.
