Sunday oysters for $1.50 and cocktails are a hit. The rest… is unfortunately a pass.
I had heard great things about Little Blue, and I recognize that they have a consistently changing seasonal menu, and this might have impacted my experience. It’s a small restaurant, best for 2 people. However, the dishes were awfully small for the price, and some of them missed the mark in terms of substance and quality. We had a group of 4 and are used to ordering many smaller shared dishes, but even with this it was still a miss for me.
Oysters: Our group loved them for the price of $1.50 each. Some of them had a bit a grit and shell, but nothing crazy. I don’t enjoy oysters, so perhaps this was the pitfall of my experience as we had coursed the rest of the meal around the oysters, of which we had a total of 3 dozen.
Bread and Butter: 5 fairly average pieces of sourdough with salted bread for $12. Nothin to write home about. We make better bread at home. Pass for sure.
Potato Salad with Boqurones: Not a normal
Potato salad. Cooked, cold potatoes cut up with cucumber, dill and sardines. It wasn’t made wrong, but the flavor combo was not great to me.
Blue Prawns: About 5 standard size shrimp, served head on but shelled and deveined, in a light broth with 5 cherry tomatoes and 4 pieces of toast cracker. Shrimp were well cooked, but there was nothing else to the dish so it felt kind of underwhelming.
Pot Roast: Provably the best non-desert dish we had. Really flavorful and well cooked pot roast over mashed potatoes. The pepperoncinis were a strange add to the dish.
Cheesecake: The best of the night. Soft and slightly deconstructed, but the crust was delicious like biscoff and the flavor was 10/10.
Cocktails: Every cocktail we had was good, but the Let Me Be Clear was a standout.
I’d recommend coming here for a drink, and a cheesecake. Maybe check the seasonal menu as head of time to see if it sounds good to you. Maybe I’ll come back sometime in the future and I hope I like it more.

This place needs to be renamed “Pot Roast”, which was excellent by the way. It also seems to be the one true entree outside of bread. Personally, we don’t dine out to eat bread, wine or pork and this place is a lot of that. Cocktails were also a no from us. They are pretty much 100% liquor. However, the interior is very pretty.

Finally came here with my husband and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, food, and service all exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect embodiment of the Bishop Arts vibe and reminds me of the hidden gems that would pop up back when BA was first going through its Renaissance. You can really feel the love, care, and passion that has gone into every detail. It’s just as appropriate for a romantic date night as it is for a casual friend hangout or even just a solo glass of wine after work. Speaking of wine, the list has been expertly curated with unique finds from around the world so there’s really not a bad option. The radish salad is a must-try, but everything is wonderful. Check it out!

I came here initially for the Maker’s Mark collab but wanted to try their food as it caught my eye. Right off the bat this place is tiny but that does NOT mean their staff fall short of service! My server/host was always eager to check up on me and was refilling my water glass whenever the chance came. I wasn’t amazed by the dish I had but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. I was surprised by the aftertaste of the eggplant and tomato combo– it was actually awesome! I just wish it was perfect.
Like Sister, Rye, Tei An and a couple of restaurants in DFW I just think some of the dishes are a bit too niche but are worth a try before you make a final judgement.

I had a birthday dinner here and the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere and lighting was perfect. I’d highly recommend this to someone who’s looking for an intimate and special night. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with my cake that I brought and lit the candles and sliced the cake for me. Thank you for a great night!

Ordered escargot and oysters on the half shell. Sauce on escargot was delicious. Oysters were meaty but as someone already shared, they weren’t all completely clean. Still meaty and tasty.
The service was above and beyond! I wish I had caught my server’s name. She was attentive and KIND but not overwhelmingly hovering. She was able to recommend a Lebanese wine that went well with my dinner.
The restaurant is a house converted to an eating establishment. The scene was cozy yet stylish.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Little Blue! We sat outside on their magical back patio. The service and food were impeccable— every item on the menu is special and reimagined. We truly loved it! Cocktails were incredible too!

Had an amazing first experience at Little Blue Bistro last Friday. The staff was phenomenal and so friendly/helpful. I think my husband and I ordered almost half of the food menu and we loved everything we ate!

So loud I couldn’t hear my partner sitting across the 1.5×1.5 table. The pot roast was chewy, burnt and a very small portion(Pic for proof), the pepper on it was even brown and it was SWIMMING in oil. As I went to write this review I saw a prior customer’s photo of theirs so I can truly say the food I got last night was terrible:( the little gem Cesar was good and the drinks were too but the service was very slow as it looked like there wasn’t enough staff to customers.

Intimate little bistro set inside a house in Bishop Arts. They have a great wine and cocktail selection. The bread and butter is a necessity and the pot roast is insanely good.
