It is like eating at grandma’s indeed. The sweet lady waitress was a legend, she treated us so nicely and warm and despite we were a big group, yet she managed to take our orders and being extremely good taking care of us.
Food is fresh and tastes like home made, you can’t go wrong with anything from the menu.
Cannot recommend enough.

It’s like eating at Grandma’s! Huge portions and delicious foods
Haddock here is hard to beat! Filled with plants and locals, thus place is a neighborhood hidden gem

Try the fish, any of the chowder, and the Sunday special? You would swear you were having dinner at your grandmas’
Order at counter. Grab your drink. Food is delivered and then you slip slowly into a food coma!
Don’t forget to grab a chocolate chip cookie for the ride!

So good! Try Bradford’s!

Food was very enjoyable. Hadn’t been here in years but decided to visit again. Fried shrimp were good size and come with 2 sides. Also pictured is the haddock with 2 sides. Prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other seafood places around here which wouldve been another $7-10 per plate. Food does take a while so just be prepared to wait for a little bit. There is parking in the back but its a little tight if you have a truck, but we were able to get street parking.

We read positive reviews of this restaurant on the Merrimack Valley restaurant page, so finally made a point to go. Both of us were really hungry and both ordered the combo – normally is called a fisherman’s plate. Scallops, haddock, shrimp, clams. I don’t like clams so I asked if they could skip the clams and add a little more of the others. They didn’t hesitate to accommodate my request. The other thing that made me want to go there is that someone posted a picture in the other group, and the onion rings looked great. I hate when anything fried has heavy batter. The onion rings looked so good, close to onion strings if you’ve ever had those. I called before we made the decision to go there, and asked if they use light coating on the rings, and the lady who answered says ‘I’m cutting them right now”. So they make their own, no wonder they’re not those awful heavily coated rings. The fry was just right on all the seafood, no oil, no grease, perfection. And the seafood was as fresh as could be! It was alot of food. Both of us took some home, we couldn’t eat all of it. Both of us would return again. It is not a fancy place, but it is nice with booths. As two old friends that don’t get together too often, we hung out for as long as we wanted, catching up. Service was friendly and cheerful. Food came out quick! For us, it was the perfect choice. Fisherman’s platter was $24.95, a bargain!

Wow, fresh, fair, and fantastic! I’m talking about the food, prices, and service.
Others have said it is like visiting your grandma’s kitchen. I agree, if your grandma is a commercial fisherman that just got home with the daily catch.
This place is what a neighborhood restaurant should be.
This was my first(but definitely not my last) time here.
I was astounded that the staff knew virtually every customer by name, what they like to eat, and how they like it prepared.
Normally when you find a restaurant full of regulars you can be made to feel a bit unwelcome.
Here it is the exact opposite.
From the welcoming smile to the friendly banter, you feel like a regular Immediately.
The haddock was unbelievably fresh. Light, flaky, and delicious. The chowder was creamy and had an incredible flavor.
The price did not reflect the freshness nor the portion size. You would expect to easily pay 30- 40% more.
Keep up the great work!!!

Hidden gem? My first time here, Friday at lunch time. Very friendly staffs. The place is nice and clean. Food is great and reasonably priced. Spent about an hour here and seems like most customers are regulars. Big glass windows letting tons of light in. Steamed mussels with wine and garlic for just 6.99!

This review is based on take-out clam chowder. The restaurant seemed to have a good vibe, good for families, and had a homey feel. The lady who took the order was so nice and pleasant. But the clam chowder fell short of any good expectations. I ordered 4 pints to go, hoping it’ll be good due to good reviews. But I was so disappointed. It didn’t have much taste, didn’t have the clam broth savory goodness, and it was so thick it felt like eating a thick glob of flour. It was honestly the worst clam chowder I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect it to taste like the best chowders in Maine; but honestly, maybe the Campbell’s clam chowder is better than this. BF ate the other pint and said the same thing, and sadly we had to throw away the other 2 pints. I hate giving bad reviews, but this was not clam chowder. It was cooked flour in a super thick cream with chopped clams added to it, no salt or any seasoning. Very disappointing. Maybe the other seafood dishes are good but I can’t recommend the clam chowder.

Good food and fresh seafood. Clam chowder didn’t have much flavor. Lobster roll tasted good but didn’t have much chunks of lobster. The seafood platter was delicious
