Such a cute spot. I’ve been here on several occasions now for breakfast. Their breakfast avocado burrito is so good. The green chili is delicious. Wish I could find a breakfast spot that serves breakfast burritos like this where I live. Definitely worth checking out. Friendly service. Cute decor.

Nice neighborhood breakfast/lunch cafe. We both ended up getting the same thing eggs, sausage patties, on biscuits and gravy whith homefries. All was really good. Its a small place and have several Mexican dishes. The owners I believe are of Mexican descent.

This place is really good and I always feel at home when I am here! The burritos are good if you are in for quick stop and the meals them selves are always very very good!

Absolutely fell in LOVE with this quaint little place! Owner was amazingly accommodating! She knew everyone by name that walked through the doors! Food was excellent. Apparently a local favorite since 1955! History of the spot was wonderful to hear about! 10/10 will be back!!

Genuinely the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Food, atmosphere, & service are all 5/5. The name represents this restaurant in its truest form, it really does feel like home, and is a true gem.

Food is really excellent. I’m always leery when going to a new place as a trans person when there are no mention of lgbtq, queer or trans folks in any reviews. This place didn’t make me afraid at least so that’s good. The deer in the headlights greeting followed by short responses was…possibly more indicative of the person behind the counter being the only one working at that exact moment than rudeness but to feel immediately at ease as a trans person I’m going to need a lot more cheer and welcome.
The smothered carnivore burrito pretty quickly had me forget about all that though. Freakin’ choice. No notes. Chef’s kiss. I ate all of it in one sitting and it was generous.

Service, menu selection and atmosphere were good; it has a small, old-style cafe feel to it. The food was mediocre, unfortunately. We had the veggie omelette, Silda’s pancake combo and Ernesto’s Mexican skillet. The skillet and omelette were pretty bland, the peppers and hash browns were undercooked but at least the pancake combo was decent. I’d return if the food had more flavor. I hate being “that guy” considering all the great reviews but just wanted to give my honest opinion.

Nice and quick, quality food. The chef is eager to take care of his customers and the place is tidy, clean, and cozy. I look forward to trying all the menu. My first item was a breakfast burrito. Lish!

Visitting from Indiana. Decided to try this place out with my friend for a brunch. I had the rancheros, and he had the breakfast tacos. Fairly priced for the portions you get. Very quaint right off the road. Would recommend to anyone visiting. Food was the bomb. And it came out so fast. Not a single item missed the mark. I ordered a side of chorizo and spread it on the top. Wonderful chef.

Found this place on Google & Yelp during a recent visit to Colorado.
It’s worth the drive to experience the wonderful service and excellent food served up here! The ambience is very classic Local All-American style with wonderful joyful Mexican music playing.
There is a small 5-stool bar counter, bench style booths and small tables with bright signage and family photos of American Military Hero’s that gives this place the ultimate local vibe.
“Favi” the owner also serves customers with her wonderful charm and friendly smile!
I loved the green chili so much, I got a pint to go! Love this place! Mahalo Favi & your staff for a wonderful dining experience!
