Does Del Taco got a remodel this past year and let me tell you, it is really nice. The only downfall is the drive-thru but that is more of the parking lot issue and not really Del Tacos fault. Food here is consistent with any other Del Taco you would go to. The only reason the food here did not get five stars is because I ordered the party pack and my bean and cheese burritos were not really hot. That was a bit of a bummer biting into a burrito and getting very lukewarm beans. I asked for well done fries and they were delicious 🙂

I went in with a coupon and tried to order on the kiosk!
Twice it didn’t take it! I told the girl and she said, “Just a minute!”
After a couple minutes, I laid the money and the coupon on the counter and went to the restroom.
If she wasn’t there by the time I came out, I was leaving!
Luckily, a guy was there: processed my order and got my food within two minutes.
NO MORE KIOSKS FOR ME!
If a person can’t take my order, I’m LEAVING!

Every time there is a gentleman I get amazing customer service but for some reason every time I have a woman I get rushed and little to no customer service.
11/10/24: Very disappointing. Ever since they upgraded into the new building, I have received terrible quality food. For tonight, I went through the drive-through and I was only missing one item, my small snack taco. I went into the restaurant and asked about it. He said it should be in there so I went back out to my car to double check. Then I brought in my bags to show him. It was not in there. He then asked for others to make it, and I stood there for another seven minutes waiting for the snack taco made because they had a bigger order snack pack in the drive-through. The manager even came in and started talking to the lead for a while while we were still waiting for our taco. I finally received my snack taco and I had to start eating my nachos in the store before they got soggy. And then once I got home to open my snack taco it was even more disappointing. Only half of it is filled. The other half is completely empty. I am very disappointed by the service and the food quality absolutely terrible. I will definitely be going to a different Del Taco in the future.

Came in to order late at night and only had mold sauce.
Guy was nice but food was cold.
Third time I come over here and now they are out of sauce compare to the first time that they only had mild. Don’t recommend this place. Needs better management.

Terrible experience overall, would not recommend at all to anyone – Do yourself a favor and drive to the other location on Placentia – Their food is always consistent and good. First off – I placed an order on their mobile app, and drove to the location – Arrived about 6-7 minutes after the order was placed and was subsequently told that they have not received the order and they asked me to come back in 5-10 minutes. When I came back the order was ready so I wasn’t too worried about the delay then. When I got home I noticed that all of the items that I ordered without cheese had cheese, and all of the chicken soft tacos had NO sauce whatsoever. The bean burritos were dry and had no sauce even though I paid for the extra sauce. It was just awful overall, so bad that I won’t return to ask for a refund or try them again. I’ll just continue to go to the 1941 N Placentia location from now on, and I highly recommend the same. The customer service was terrible on top of it – The drive thru attendant was very rude and dismissed the issue like it was my fault. I’ve never been asked to go back through the drive through in my life, how ridiculous.

Food is good, but second time I go to get the special for taco tuesday and they have no sauce at all I was told they have a limit per shift. If Im making a purchase I want sauce with my tacos.

Complete lack of professionalism from nighttime staff. I work within the shopping center so I eat lunch and dinner at Del Taco at least 5-7x a week. After being treated horribly in March at 3AM by the tall young Hispanic male where he began the interaction aggressively shouting “what do you want!” and speaking with a complete lack of respect or professionalism as if it was an inconvenience that I wanted to order food at that time , my regular visits have become extremely poor as well as intimidating by the other staff members as a result of the young Hispanic male, with now visible evidence of my harassment as well as reason to believe that my food has been tampered with as retaliation by other staff members (attaching photo of elderly looking Hispanic female staring at me and my car through the drive through window and laughing)!
I highly reccomend HR watch the video cameras of how their staff conducted themselves, laughing and staring aggressively to the point of making me uncomfortable and having to leave when they saw me walk into the restaraunt at 8:02 PM on May 23rd.

Well the days of customer service is gone. I walked inside to place an order. Yet, no one was behind the counter. There were employees working in the kitchen area but nobody was there to take my order. Instead, there was a sign in place of were the cash register would be. The sign read to “Please order at the kiosk.” I left and headed to a local restaurant with actual people at the counter.
