My mother had Tin Roof cater for my father’s 90th birthday party at Elite Events Lodi. The potato salad, Tri-tip, pork ribs, chicken, and corn bread were exceptional. The food was delivered on time and set up perfectly. It was unbelievable how tasty everything was. There was enough food for everybody to take home enough for an additional meal or so. The paper plates, plastic utensils, and supply of napkins were also plentiful. Thank you Tin Roof Catering for making my dad’s birthday great.

My buddy and I went to grab lunch here a few Saturdays ago. We were previously talking about local BBQ spots in Stockton and he said this joint in Lodi was very good. He had done a few take outs. My friend is fairly picky so I was certain this was going to be a treat. He mentioned that the BBQ sells out daily.

When we got there, the BBQ and smokers were still going and the place smelled great. It was packed but we were quickly seated.

Ok, on to the food, I ordered the 2 meat brisket and pork ribs. Dry with no flavor on both. Thank god for the BBQ sauce or I would have returned it. Which is what I should have done. Mac and cheese was good. Corn bread was the best. My buddy had the pastrami sandwich and said it was delicious. Overall very disappointing considering how good the reviews were. I’ll let my pic speak for itself.

Visited two times last week. Both times had sandwiches. One was the Pulled pork and the other one was the smoked turkey. Both were flavorful in their own way. Both meats felt low in added seasonings which I personally enjoyed. The Turkey Sandwich includes avocado inside. Their BBQ sauces are quite delicious. The staff is friendly and focused on attention. The restaurant has parking on its side. Drink+side included be prepared to spend 25-30 dollars per meal.

Well, I wanted to start off by saying I read some of the reviews and looked at the pictures before I went here. I noticed some of the meat doesn’t even have a smoke ring around it, which means it looks like it’s just been baked in the oven. Unfortunately, the meal I received also tasted like the brisket was baked in the oven. It’s pretty bad for a barbecue place when people mention the service and the barbecue sauce being excellent more than the quality of the meats they receive. This place is a two thumbs down for me.

This place was pretty good. From the environment to the service to the food I would give it an over all 8. Our server Drew was very informative and knew his menu. Very helpful. We ordered the 4 meat plate that comes with choices of meat we chose double tri-tip, 3 ribs, brisket, one corn bread and 1 side of choice (we picked their Mac and Cheese with sausage). It’s about $32 for that plate. We shared it among 4 of us (2 adults & 2 children) we also ordered an extra rib plate 4 piece that came with 1 side we chose French fries, best fries ever by the way. That plate was about $18. I have to say the ribs, Mac and fries were our favorites of the food we ordered today. Definitely want to go back and try their sandwiches and other menu items. They have a ton of options to choose from. I’m sure there will be something to eat for someone. They also make their own home made sauces and ranch as well. We sat outside which was nice and they have heaters outside as well for cooler days. I also brought my fur baby and they didn’t even question him there. Anyways, you gotta try it here. Came at 11:30 am on a Saturday and was seated right away. Ordered the 4 bone pork rib meal with mac and cheese $19, 1/2 lb brisket $18, tri tip chili with cornbread $15, and medium side of coleslaw $9. Ribs were ok, some dry some really fatty pieces, seasoned well, meat comes off the bone ok. Brisket was decent, mix of fatty and lean pieces. Tri tip chili was ok, more like a tri tip stew, lots of meat but practically no beans, little bit of tomatoes. Cornbread was decent. Mac and cheese was ok. Prices and portions were reasonable. They have indoor and outdoor seating, first come first serve. Table service. Service was decent. They have 10 beers on tap, some generic and some craft. Overall, the food was pretty mediocre. I can’t recommend it

I am glad I found this place. I have roots with BBQ that stem from Oklahoma and Texas. I’ve had some life changing experiences when it comes to BBQ. The service was absolutely fantastic. My drink never went below halfway. The atmosphere was filled with folks smiling and plenty of full bellies. I ended up going with a 3 meat special and chose the following: tri tip/brisket/pulled pork! Trip tip was new to me here being in NorCal only for last three years! I absolutely loved the Tri tip. That was the star of the show!!! The sweet potato fries were fried to a perfection! The corn bread muffin was cooked to a perfect crisp for the muffin top! Who doesn’t love muffin tops???? The smoke flavor in the meat was a bit light for my liking however all of it was super tender!

My boyfriend and I live in Modesto but had to come to Lodi for a meeting afterwards we wanted to get something to eat and heard about tin roof so we went. The staff was very friendly and welcoming also very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. A little on the higher end but definitely worth the price. Their portions are decently big. Was our first time there and will definitely be back. If you ever want to have bbq and are in the Lodi area or are traveling, hit this spot up you won’t regret it.

After hearing about this place from my hairstylist I decided to stop by for lunch. Had the one meat combo. The ribs had an excellent bbq sauce with lots of meat. The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy with sausage slices. The cornbread muffin was moist and savory. The service was great the employee was ready to leave for the day and he still seated me and took my order which I thought was very nice. Thanks will be back soon when I visit Lodi.
