I have ate that mini chipotle throughout the Midwest and this particular chipotle have eight years many times before in the past, but today My wife and I seen that the state was medium rare and when we requested for our steak to be well done, they refused and said they don’t cook their stuff well done or medium well that they only cooked their steak at medium rare which means there’s a lot of risk to get sick from the meat so we decided to get chicken instead as we ate. I decided to ask your cousin himself if someone requested to get their state cooked well what he do it he said no they only cooked their steak, medium rare, which I believe Chipotle‘s policy is to cook their food. Well done to medium well to ensure there is no harmful bacteria or other contaminants on the food so there won’t be another outbreak of food poisoning but at this particular one, the young staff says otherwise. Plus the staff workers that actually handled the food didn’t have hair nuts on and they had a sideburns and bangs hanging towards the front which is way more than an inch and a half long, Unfortunately, this means that My wife and I won’t be eating at another restaurant in Dekalb

Ordered on new years eve for lunch while I’m working all day myself. Did mobile orders only and had to wait outside. My taco tortilla wasn’t heated and served hard and cold. One of the tacos had exactly 3 pieces of chicken in it. I get it’s a holiday but I have to work too, It was just lunch time not late at night… Tried ordering again and got the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen… 🙁

The last 4 times I have been to the Sycamore, IL location they have been out of something steak, cheese, chips or corn. About 2-3 months ago we got chips, guacamole and pico and the chips were stale. When I drove the 18 mins back to the store because I had already gotten home I was told “oh yeah I had them on my lunch break and they were stale then too.” She called the manager over and said, “she wants a refund bc the chips are stale remember we got them on our break and they were bad then.” I was given a refund but come on. You knew they were bad and management acknowledged they were bad but you guys continued selling chips!?!?! I was told the chips are made every morning so they cannot just make more. Okay then take them all off the shelf bc who the hell wants stale chips!?!?!?! I wasn’t going to write a review about this but given the multiple poor experiences I think corporate should be aware.
Today at 08:30 pm they again are out of cheese and corn. How can this be when you are open until 11 pm?? Not to mention the restaurant looks disgusting with half of it broken down for cleaning but they don’t close for 3.5 more hours. This is insane and I’m sure it won’t be long until they are closed down for lack of ingredients, poor quality of what they do have and poor management.
Why do you have roughly 10 employees working if only 1 of you is helping customers?? Why not have some of them restocking everything that is out of stock ot helping the line of people?? Make it make sense!

I ordered through GrubHub I got a bowl I barely got anything in the bowl did not get my guacamole that I had ordered barely got any of the carnitas that I ordered did not get my salsa that I had to ordered barely got any rice The bowl was not even half full The chips tasted burnt it was absolutely not worth the $16 that I had to pay it was absolutely disgusting. I was not happy whatsoever with that I could go in there and order and have the bowl heaping over and when you order for delivery you have no option to order extra rice extrasal salsa extra fajitas which by the way I got two things of fajitas which was ridiculous, it was just unbelievable. And on top of it all I didn’t get a receipt inside my bag which is ridiculous also.

Tables were not cleaned up, garbage was heaping full, I requested to have one of the tables cleaned off because I wanted to sit where one of the tables were dirty, never happened, girl was kinda bratty to me, forgot my cup of guacamole, then she slid it across the counter in a rude way! Very unprofessional!!! Food was ok, but honestly I had better chipotle than this location!!! By far!!

CONSTANTLY out of something!! 4 times in 3 week period they have been out of either lettuce corn cheese etc.. smh!! Also if you’re gonna have a new employee every other week… please stop letting them wrap burritos. Make them learn first so I can enjoy my meal and not have it fall apart.

Came in this evening and they are out of shredded cheese. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. How can this happen repeatedly? I could understand if you are 15 minutes from closing but come on you don’t close for 3 hours. Also last time, I asked for queso as a replacement for the shredded cheese and it ended up being an upcharge. Every time I come in here, the place is a wreck, food all over the place and looking nasty. I can’t imagine this place lasting much longer. Corporate should stop in this place.

Music was loud enough that we could not hear conversations of others and could still enjoy convo at my table. I loved it. Staff is constantly keeping up with cleaning the sitting area and the service was above and beyond for me.

4 hours prior to closing they were out of fajitas, corn, cheese, and lettuce. Also staff was closing up the restaurant, putting away chairs and other items. This is not the first time either. I don’t think I’ve ever had an experience where they were not out of ingredients.
