This place is absolutely fantastic! As the owner of a similar place in Montgomery, I have NEVER and I repeat NEVER had a breakfast close to what we serve up at home. However, this morning I was surprised as all get out… The grits.. Perfect, The bacon Perfect…. The biscuit omg the biscuit…. Perfection! The eggs…. Eggzakely I way I love them … AND The pancake.. Ooooo… The pancake … Y’all if you are ever even close to The Pelham Diner please bless yourself and go there… It’s an amazing little spot with all the right vibes…. I promise you will go back the next time you’re close… I know I will…..

If I loved closer, I’d come here every day for breakfast. Great service, food came out quick, and had no problem with any of my food. Loved the look of the diner and if I ever pass by here again, I’m definitely getting breakfast again. If I get a chance, I’d love to try their lunch/dinner!

Nice little diner. Great value…you can get a large plate of eggs, meat, hashbrowns, and french toast, with coffee, for $13-14. Their cinnamon rolls are a little small and dry. Service was quick and friendly. The bathrooms aren’t very clean.

This is one of my FAVORITE breakfast spots! I would recommend the Patriot meal. It is more food than I can eat in one sitting, but it reheats very well. The pancakes are ungodly huge (they take up an entire plate) and are spectacularly good! The wait staff are friendly and make dining here feel like eating at your Nana’s kitchen! You will NOT regret coming here! I haven’t had a chance to try their lunch yet, but if it’s anything like their breakfast, I can’t wait!

I can’t honestly review the food or service but when my girlfriend and I walked in, we were given horrible looks by both the customers and employees. We stood in line for a few minutes before we felt uncomfortable enough to find another place to eat. My impression is this a a very community centered type of establishment and passerbys may want to continue traveling. Especially if you don’t look like the locals.

This location is known for their diner style meat and sides. As well as their breakfast. Huge pancakes, you have to try it with blueberries. The staff is always friendly and their food is always served hot to the table. At breakfast, the coffee flows and their waitresses are non stop in their hospitality. The orange rolls are a hidden treat. Tried the 4 vegetable plate today. The lunch is served off a hot table cafeteria style and its homestyle favorites. Tried the baked broccoli and cheesy rice which every bite was creamy. The winner was their bread pudding. Surprisingly, there were chunks of pineapple and peach. It’s not overly sweet and every bite was delicious.

This is our new favorite diner! Our waitress was Candy (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and she was wonderful and helpful! We also met the owner Toni and she was so kind! The food was absolutely excellent (I got the western omelette and my husband got the patriot meal) and we would gladly drive an hour here again for this amazing place!

Had always been to Pelham Diner for breakfast, and let me tell you, you can’t go wrong with their breakfast.
But today we stopped by here lunch. A meat and three served cafeteria style. I had meatloaf with green beans and sweet potato casserole. Only complaint was a little too much sauce on the meatloaf for my taste but had an excellent flavor.
Wife ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, fried okra and blackberry cobble. She cleaned her plate, which is unusual for her. Said everything was excellent.
Service and staff are top notch and make you feel like your at grandma’s table.
Definitely a winner for lunch and prices can’t be beat!!

Food was outstanding. First time in. Enjoyed my breakfast!! Not often can you say breakfast hit the spot. Server was great and on point. Family atmosphere! I have no complaints to come out my mouth! Thank you for some spot hitting breakfast!! I recommend 100% stopping at this diner!!
