Legends offers Italian style dining for the Pittsburgh crowd. Featuring 4.oz standard sized portions and served in the 3 course style you can get a good quality dining experience right here in the burgh. Portions are well plated and clock in at $16-$20 an entree sans protein. Tack on some shrimp, chicken, or steak for a small fee. My group took advantage of the BYOB policy and split a bottle of wine. Seating can get a little cramped and crowded during busy times, so it’s good to call ahead for larger parties to accommodate. The desserts were delicious & they offered a nice post-dinner cafe espresso. Try to scope out parking beforehand. During N.Shore events it can be sparse. Tho there is parking by the local park and some side street spots during standard daytime hours.

I just got a chicken parm and it was good!!! Pasta was a little cold, I think they can do something about it. The place is small but it has a nice vibe. The servers are very attentive. Sometimes you need reservation but anyways I recommend this place

We had an amazing meal and the service is outstanding. Malinda our server went above and beyond with great recommendations.

We were celebrating our daughters progress report and talking about it being her special day so when my daughter and to the bathroom she went out of her way to ask if the dessert should have a candle and what we were celebrating.

Every person in the staff was working to make our night perfect, as has been our experience with every visit. Chef Dan attracts great people!

This is a top 5 Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh.

The corkage fee is very reasonable!

The fried cannoli is very unique and recommend trying.

The mussels are outstanding but everything from start to finish was outstanding. The veal with peppers was great!

Also they have gluten free pasta as one of our party has a gluten intolerance and she said it was some of best gluten free pasta she has had.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to try Legends—and wow, are we glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Our waitress, Karen, was absolutely amazing—attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made our dining experience extra special with her genuine hospitality and great recommendations.
The food was outstanding—everything was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care and passion behind every dish. We left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit.
Legends is truly a gem in Pittsburgh, and Karen made it unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Food was incredible to say the least. Our waitress and the service in general was beyond amazing. This place overall is a 10/10 must try. We will 110% be coming back here. (Chicken Romano was the best I ever had)

By far, one of the best places in Pittsburgh to have dinner! A high school friend was visiting from NJ and we just had dinner. The service and food was outstanding. My veal parmesean was the best I’ve ever had! Great job Dan and staff!
Thanks again for a wonderful evening! I’ll be back soon!

We made a reservation for Saturday with Dan the owner/chef. He was very friendly over the phone. We wanted dinner before going to the play at the Benedum. We arrived early for our 5.30 reservarion and they were able to seat us straightaway.

The menu has good options and the place is BYOB, we saw many tables with wine or beer. Our server was great and attentive cosidering how many tables she had.

The place is small and it gets wuite loud in there. But the service is efficient, we got bread and oil with our drinks. The entrees come with a soup or salad, both were good options.

We got the arancini was great, you get 4 pieces with blue cheese on a bed of spinach.
For entrees we got the chicken Romano, Chicken Parmigiana, the special scallops and shrimp and a GF rice linguine was tasty.

Overall for being on the Northside this is a great Italian spot. The size does make it loud in there, but the tables are spaced comfortably so that you do not feel cramped. The coconut cream pie was the hit of the evening and so big it fed 3 of us.

Our server malinda was amazing!!! Food was absolutely delicious and tasted homemade. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. Dishes were about 25$ a piece but they come with either soup or salad and bread so I feel like for the quality it was extremely reasonable.
