We From Washington went yesterday (11/27/2025) crossed the border to Abbotsford Yummy Sushi for lunch.
We ordered Teriyaki bento for 4 of US, Also Alaska sushi roll, and some apple juices, hot green tea and a can of soda.
The food taste delicious,the lady served us so nice and sweet.
The price reasonable too.

I’ve enjoyed visiting this sushi restaurant on multiple occasions. The service is friendly and prompt, the food is generously portioned, well presented and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and there is a section with visible storage. You can fit a large group here and be comfortable. This is one of my go to sushi restaurants in Abbotsford!

Excellent traditional sushi restaurant with fair prices. Big rolls with real avocado and quantity prawns. Delicious teriyaki and tempura. Best teriyaki sauce in town! Clean, beautiful setting with tons of free parking. Street level doors, no stairs for easy access to the restaurant. Friendly family owned staff are super kind and fast. Check it out today!

I remember going to this place back when it was a Tim Horton’s. After all those years that it became a Japanese restaurant, I finally went to Yummy Sushi.
The establishment was not busy when I came, so I got a table right away. I ordered the Oyako Donburi and the Ebi Popcorn Special Sushi Roll. The Ebi Popcorn fantastic overall. The popcorn tempura shrimp was very tasty, especially with the sauces it came with. The sushi roll was pretty great as well, even for California rolls. The donburi was good as well, although the meat had a peculiar taste that did not feel right. I still enjoyed it though.
The service was admirable and did not really have anything to complain about. The interior was pretty moderate in design and décor, but nothing special. I would like to come and dine at Yummy Sushi again.

Tried for the first time and ordered takeout with no wasabi. It all came in one bag with the hot items at the bottom and cold raw fish on top. We ended up with very warm raw fish. There was also wasabi in every container, and pieces of wasabi on most of the rolls. Also had wasabi taste on all of them. Had to find different food options for the kids.

I love this place. I frequently go here with friends, my partner, or my family. The chef and waiters are always so warm and welcoming. Food is great – refined and elegant enough to be yummy, simple enough to not feel overwhelming. They 100% live up to their name ❤️
