I just got done staying a week at the hotel next to applebee’s. Myself and a lot of my co-workers would go there after work eat/drink. I liked the servers. We had one very often severing the table Andrea she was on top of her game when we came in. We had on average 10-12 people per day. And we liked to close down the place. Andrea was awesome very nice. Food was good to.

A great place to dine at lunch, dinner, or late night. I go with a group of 6-12 frequently. We go early evening when many of the items are 1/2 price. I had the beef nachos tonight . The portion is huge and yummy. I share or take half home. Service is always great and done to perfection.

I’m not sure if I am being overly nice by giving it a 2 star review.
We entered the restaurant and the host seemed put out because we had our 9 month old with us. “I’ll see what I can find, we are jam packed tonight.” Just looking down the row of tables I could see 3 empty tables. (There was no wait)
After being sat by the other host I asked for a high chair which I was given one without a strap I put it back myself and grabbed another one.
We didn’t wait long to order but after ordering the host delivered our food did not ask anything that would come with typical service do you need anything else how is everything…just sped away.
My order was wrong, after I waved down our waitress and told her that was not what I ordered she said she misunderstood what I said. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off like the place was falling down around her. She brought me plates with the missing parts of my meal for me to add myself one part was an egg that I couldn’t eat because it was not cooked I don’t eat raw anything. (I breast feed my child and cannot risk getting her sick) I did not bother to ask to have it fixed.
As much as I would like to blame this experience on our waitress having a rough busy night and give her the benefit of the doubt I could hear the man behind me trying to have a nice night out with his wife having their entire meal comped by the manager because they also recieved something they did not order. I payed 13$ for what I ordered. I suggest if your serves is going to remain this way put in a drive thru and drop your prices.

Excellent food, happy hour is awesome. Love that place.. Great specials,however customer service varies by location.. it really had changed, some employees are rude and not courteous.. in my opinion they have really downgraded in terms of customer service.. now you can’t call and reserve ahead of time.. first come first serve is the motto, so that’s what I was told over the phone.. we made a reservation for a large party, and it turns out that when we arrived they have our table away, this is was in the cathedral city location.. so we had to call and ask how long was the wait time in the other locations we drive to the one in Palm desert, and they said the wait wasn’t that long.. estimation about 5-15 min. We arrived yet again we had to wait over an hour to get a table.. by then we were already upset for the incidents.. one after another.. so now we only go to the one in rancho, next to the river.. we will not be returning to the other locations.. horrible service, they made up for the other people.. our server young lady by the name of shamika was so AMAZING, she was attentive and took care of us..

There is nothing particularly specific about this Applebee’s location that I noticed that would distinguish it from others like it. It was clean and the good was good. The staff was somewhat inattentive, but not terribly so. Overall it was an average experience eating here.

The hostess ( tattoo on neck) had a very bad attitude. We asked several questions and she never acknowledged our questions or responded very rudely. But our serve Erroll was very AWESOME. We would only come back bc of his upbeat attitude.

I walked in and Stood there. There were a few patrons and large majority of the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. There was not an employee insight. Not even one behind the bar!
After a few minutes, a server walked out with arms full of food and dropped it at a table on his way to greet me. He was stopped and brought back to the table. He had brought entire table the wrong to meal. That’s when I turned and walked out.
