I heard about this place through a Reddit post and I’m glad that we were able to stop in. The burgers are really good here and made right in front of you. He also made a pizza while we were there that looked really good.

Honestly the burger was fine. The experience was why the bad review. I’m over 50 and know I don’t like onions on my burger. For 50 years I have had my burger the same way, so I don’t need someone telling me I need onions on my burger. Especially being from Texas, we know burgers. But the cook said if you don’t get the onions on it it won’t be good. Why do you defeat your own burger? But he said it like 3 times. I finally said just make it how I order it, I really should have just walked out, and said forget it but I wanted to try the bread because it looked good. But definitely a one time visit for me. Then the next lady in line says no onions no cheese, and he proceeded to tell her it won’t be as good. To which she replied I don’t care I know how I like my burger. But he kept on. I was shocked. All you have to do is create a little seasoning, salt pepper onion powder, and a few other spices, and you can season the meat. Some people don’t like slimy onions… let them be the master of their burger. I can promise you when people ask me where to eat in SXM, I’ll not but this place on the list, not because the food is bad, the burger was fine, but the experience isn’t worth being beat up, just for trying to order a burger without onions.

We had the absolute pleasure of trying both the black bean burger and the tofu burger at Krave SXM, and we’re still dreaming about them! From the very first bite, it was clear that every ingredient was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and prepared with so much care.

And the focaccia bread… wow. It’s made in-house, and it shows. Light as air, yet with just the right amount of chew and golden crisp edges -it’s like a cloud kissed by olive oil and herbs. Easily the best burger bread we’ve ever had -soft enough to melt in your mouth, yet sturdy enough to hold all the deliciousness together without falling apart.

This is hands down the best smashburger I have ever eaten in my life and I will die on that hill. This is my second time visiting SXM and I saw this burger in my dreams leading up to my trip back. The fresh focaccia, the flavor, the special sauce, the craftsmanship, it’s perfect. I will always make sure to come more than just once everytime I visit. This burger is so outstanding, my friends got one to go and freezed it so they could bring it home to their friends/family back at home. It’s a small place and the owner cooks it all right in front of you by himself, so naturally there’s typically a wait. Let me be very clear, I truly feel sad for the people I’ve seen walk out due to wait time. They are certainly missing out – more for me though I guess. Have some patience, and you undoubtedly will not regret it. Always a plus, the owner/solo cook is cool people and his metaficitonal menu always gives me a good laugh. He offers more than just the burger which I haven’t had the pleasure to try any of it but I’m sure are just as good. I’ll be outside their door at 10:59 this morning to get my fix in before my flight later. Love you for life Krave!

got rec’d to go here and i don’t regret even a bite. definitely one of the yummiest cheeseburgers i’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. everything from the patties to the cheese to the sauce veggies and ciabatta buns are so good. to die for!!! the friends ain’t too shabby either i recommend if you need your fix. the burger is so filling on its own tho and a reasonable price. the staff are so friendly and fast, everything is so fresh. i heard the lines get long but we had no trouble finding a seat
