Super amazing atmosphere! Owned by an AMAZING family. Everything is so clean and so incredibly delicious. They also have entertainment on certain nights & make everything FRESH with good QUALITY. Their food is made with love- from fresh mozz, to pasta tossed in a wonderful creamy cheese wheel sauce! I had the Alfredo with shrimp which was a 10/10! My boyfriend had gotten the filet special with lobster tail & it was to DIE for! Melts right in your mouth! They also have a wonderful BRICK oven pizza place right next door. Amazing pizza as well! We love a place that has great service & really makes you feel like family! This place is a MUST try & you can’t miss it!

Absolutely Perfect Holiday Party at Cordis!

We recently hosted our holiday party for 50 people at Cordis, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was beautifully set up and perfectly organized.

The food was incredible—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere was stunning, spotless, and festive, with a great setup that included a DJ and a gorgeous flower bar that everyone loved. The staff were beyond impressive—so friendly, professional, and attentive. The waiters were on top of everything the entire evening, making sure our guests had everything they needed without ever having to ask.
A special shout-out to Niki and her husband, the wonderful owners, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. You can really tell how much they care about their guests and their restaurant.
Thank you, Cordis, for giving us a night to remember! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate with you again.

Love, Ocean Heart Group Team ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding!

Cordi Italian is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in New Jersey. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, care, and authenticity that so many places try to imitate but rarely deliver.

The food is incredible — rich, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Every dish tasted like it was crafted with pride. The pasta was fresh and cooked beautifully, the sauces were layered with flavor, and the entrées were the kind you dream about long after the meal is over.

Service was just as impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great dining experience. They check in without hovering, make great recommendations, and treat you like a welcome guest — not just another table.

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and ideal for everything from date nights to family dinners. It’s the kind of place you can’t wait to return to.

If you’re looking for exceptional Italian food with top-tier service, Cordi Italian is a must. Easily a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!

Dominic Cordi who is the owner greeted my family and I at the door and was kind. He advised us of all there great options of dishes the restaurant has available. We went with a delicious pizza pie for lunch that we enjoyed. AL who made and serve our pizza pie was great. He was very kind and generous. My kids including my wife and I enjoyed the restaurants environment. We will definitely be back. Thank you for showing class and professionalism Dominic and AL, The food and service was A1.

I absolutely love Cordi’s, so when we were planning my friend’s 40th birthday party, I knew their catering was the way to go and they did not disappoint. We hosted about 40 guests and ordered caesar salad, penne vodka, chicken parm, chicken francese, chicken fingers (for the kids, though the adults loved them just as much), and vegetables. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and truly outstanding. They even gave us bread (cut!) and butter.

Nikki was incredibly helpful in guiding me on how much food to order and even suggested to have the chicken pieces cut in half (which was genius), which made serving so much easier. Every single guest raved about the food. I can’t recommend Cordi’s enough for catering or any special occasion.

It’s my husband’s birthday and I wanted to treat him to a good Italian restaurant. This place was highly recommended and the reviews were great. I had high hopes but we were disappointed. The server was great. She accommodated all our requests and even gave my husband a cheesecake with candles on it and sang the birthday song. The owner came out and visited every table but ours and when he did, it was only to move our table to give space to the table next to us. The said table complained that our table was too close and didn’t like my husband looking at their table. One guy even asked my husband,” Can I help you?”. The owner gave us a complementary pie but that was unnecessary. To make matters worse, we got sick from the food we ate. I was not impressed with the food. I was looking forward to the fettuccine Alfredo made in a cheese wheel but the version in the menu with panchetta was not available and instead they have chicken or shrimp. The ambience was not for us. It was too small and crowded and the regulars were snooty and uppity. I was also disappointed that some of the guests were wearing shorts and sandals on the ‘upscale’ restaurant.

Amazing dinner! Fettuccine Alfredo was 10/10. Garlic bread was delicious! Service was excellent. They have a cute Photo Booth in the entrance. My family and I visited for my birthday, since it was a big group, they put us in a private room which was very nice!

This restaurant is an absolute hidden treasure….it is as good or better than any of the five star restaurants I’ve eaten in from Manhattan to Key West. From the moment you step in the restaurant you feel that warm family style atmosphere and beautiful decor.
The staff were kind, respectful and very attentive to our needs. The menu was fairly extensive and had something for everyone. We sat down and had delicious fresh made bread with dipping olive oil and the owner sent over a small personal pizza to try. I would have been good with the pizza alone….that’s how good it was. Then we ordered the Caesars salad which was made at a station in front of us with all fresh ingredients….off the charts. (The homemade garlic bread croutons were awesome)
We also ordered fried Calamari…which was super fresh and tender…like it’s supposed to be. Definitely in the top three I’ve ever eaten. The waitress brought us Scungilli in sweet marinara sauce….. Excellent.
Included with our meal was the Fettuccine Alfredo…which was also made at a station in front of us. The cook was excellent….fresh cheese cooked to perfection.
We were sent over their homemade Fusilli in San Marzano sauce which again was on point. By now I was just about stuffed….then came the Valentine’s special….Surf and Turf for two. The NY strip steak was unbelievable….cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was tender and sweet. The special came with a side of sauteed vegetables….which were delicious as well. Finally…. desert….We had fresh cannoli and cappuccino which was also included with the special and was delightful. The owner came by multiple times during dinner to make sure we were well taken care of…..which we were. The entire night was as perfect as I could have asked for. Not one issue with anything….which is a rare occurrence today. I can’t urge you enough to try this place….if you want authentic Italian food (not wannabe Italian food) cooked to perfection until you are stuffed and treated like a family member….this is the place to go. I’m already looking to make another reservation. Sorry for the long review….but I had to put everything in here to accurately describe our experience. Enjoy….. you’ll thank me.

My wife and I went there last week and I regret not saying anything at the time. I don’t write bad reviews and put this one off but I felt completely DUPED by all of the great reviews. 1. My water glass was dirty and both of our menus were also dirty to the point we didn’t want to touch them. (Not the end of the world but gross). 2. My chicken parm was fine, cheese was good but the chicken was small and clearly frozen prior; my local pizza place is better and cheaper. 3. My wife ordered the Penne Vodka and it was $34….MORE expensive than my chicken parm. Not only was it not Penne (it was ziti…), but it tasted like a mixture of Kraft mac and cheese powder mixed with milk. It tasted NOTHING like vodka sauce or anything else that I had ever eaten. It was also supposed to have pancetta but we found literally 3 specs. We were honestly shocked and a bit angry after reading all of the wonderful reviews calling it “The best Italian food in New Jersey”. It’s clear that the owner has a lot of friends and family that write nice reviews that aren’t truthful. Staff was friendly but the food was extraordinarily over priced and just not good. I hope it can be chalked up to a bad day in the kitchen but I’m not so sure. Hopefully they change some things…
