The good: fresh bread. The bad: no parking, food too salty, bread (torta) was too toasted/burned. When I asked if I could have a different piece of bread they took longer to bring out the torta. Once returned, one piece was hot the other was barely heated, there was almost no meat in it anymore. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

I was in the mood for some tacos and I came upon this restaurant while I was in dc. I placed my order through the phone requesting my food and other necessities. They forgot my salt I requested and didn’t even put napkins in the bag. When I got there to pick up and pay for my order, the cashier was not welcoming or friendly. They need another cashier in the front. Other than that, tacos were good.

Went here recently, server was rude. Food was okay, the atmosphere unfriendly and awkward.

I’ve been admittedly nervous about trying Mexican food on the East coast, but Mi Casita was stunning. The tacos are great, the prices are good, the workers are kind. I didn’t get to try their baked goods but they looked delicious too.

I have frequented this place for the last 5 years. They have some of the best tamales and tortas. Their chicken quesadilla is the best I have had in DC. They Pretty much make the food from scratch when you order so expect a wait time. My biggest pet peeve is their service can be slow even when you call in advance for pickup. I would still recommend this place as a hole in a basement gem!

When in DC, a wonderful Bakery, coffee shop to visit is the Mi Casita Bakery and Deli. Good customer service and exellent customer service. After you have tasted the coffee and food , you will be glad you did.

I ordered Al Pastor quesadillas, rice and beans to-go. I’m upset that quesadilla juices splashed all over the inside of the bag, the food was cold, and the lady told me they had no sour cream at all. AT ALL!!! I wont return.

The food took forever, half an hour, our drinks didn’t even come out til we was finish with our food!! The service was absolutely terrible, The cashier was always at the back and wasn’t taking orders til she noticed us there.She had an attitude and we had to pick up our own food!! This ruined my day!! One of the staff was talking so loud with the kitchen staff, and barely paid attention to the costumers. Will never go back again!!
