This historic restaurant has a nicely appointed with lots of small areas for more private dining. The food is good and the service team is very friendly. The lamb burger was a bit messy but tasted great. The cole slaw is a drier version but has good flavor. This is a regular stop for a number of people where I work because it’s more quiet and not a chain restaurant.

Good experience here! We loved sitting on the patio and the pub area looked fun too. The staff was friendly, the service was smooth, and everything was well taken care of. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would come back to.”

We really wanted to love this place because the ambiance is great and the entire space—including Wispers Pub—looks fantastic. Unfortunately, the service and food didn’t live up to the environment.

The Service: Our experience with the waiter was poor at best. He forgot our appetizers and at least one drink order. We also never received water refills throughout the night. To top it off, when one member of our party paid with cash, the waiter assumed the change was a tip without asking. Had we let that slide, the tip would have been nearly 50%, which was quite bold given the lack of attention.

The Food: While the presentation was good, the flavors were lacking. Mahi Mahi w/ Crab: The fish was unfortunately very bland and lacked flavor, though the asparagus was a highlight.
Salmon: My wife was equally unimpressed with her salmon entree.

Dessert: My crème brûlée was dry and tasteless. However, my wife did enjoy her dessert, which was a very good cake.
Drinks: The standout of the meal was the Mexican Chocolate Stout, which was excellent.

Wispers Pub: We took a look at the bar and it is a very nice looking little spot, but because the dinner service was such a letdown, we decided to head elsewhere for our evening drinks.

Overall: Beautiful venue, but the service and kitchen need a lot of work before we’d consider returning.

We loved our food and Fall themed cocktails at the restaurant. The cottage pie lived up to the hype, it was delicious! The pot stickers and creme brûlée were also amazing. As noted from a few other reviews, the service staff were very nice but slow. There were long lulls in between the when out waitress came over. But it didn’t damper our wonderful dining experience there and we’ll be back for sure.

I really enjoyed the cottage pie and pecan ball, both were excellent. The charcuterie didn’t have as much cheese as we were expecting and we didn’t like the crackers but it was good on the bread. I wouldn’t order that appetizer again. The layout is very unique. The service was good. I would recommend going here.

We went last night meeting a friend after her saying that they had lots of good gluten-free options. It was amazing. They did an excellent job and have a variety of gluten-free. I got a burger and the bun didn’t fall apart! They had fries too! My husband got the Crispy Fried Chicken which was a Crisp-Fried portion of a local farm amish chicken, along with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was also very good! The restaurant stagg were very helpful and watchful.

I see nothing special about the shrimp with crab in cream/ creole sauce. The shrimp were fine but nothing special was done. The creole sauce was tasteless and the dish wasn’t warm . Risotto for most dishes as a side. Where’s the variety and ability to select. It definitely make people feel full because the real main item doesn’t.
Our server was great and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Me and my family went out during this weekend for Lobster Fest, and boy was it incredible! Stuffed Lobster was delicious! Our server handled everything professionally and it was quite the experience we never had. Outside patio was wonderful and conditions were fancy!
My sons loved the Lobster Arancini and the maple coffee cakes were delicious!
Have to give a big heart to hard-working staff team and even those behind the scenes too. The kids pointed out that some young blond guy with glasses and what seemed to be a towel was doing pretty neat tricks, outside the restaurant and inside of the entrance. He’s like a parkour master without breaking anything!

Definitely will return back to the pub another day!

Ok food was good, service was great. But, and this may be unpopular, but please stop allowing dogs. Like I don’t have pets and I’m eating so can we not just leave our dogs at home people? If I wanted to eat with animals I would go to the zoo. Just not thrilled about it. But again, food was pretty good. Waitress was so nice. Unfortunately I would rather go somewhere that people can’t bring their pets to.

We have been to this local establishment many times over the years. When we (party of 8) were there for dinner on February 7th for a birthday, the woman at the hostess stand (who identified herself as one of the managers (Carla) was nasty and extremely unfriendly and condescending. In a conversation with her she acted as though she was doing us a favor by letting us eat there. The lead up to this was that because a person in our party has Celiac disease and we were celebrating a birthday, we needed to bring gluten free cupcakes instead of a cake. There was no cutting, plating or serving required. Carla wanted to charge us for “storing” the box as she put it. I say to her that she was charging us to take the box to the kitchen???? She said we could keep it at the table. I questioned where it would fit at our table for 8?! She then said she would do it this time but never again. PLEASE keep that woman from the hostess stand. Her tone and the way she spoke was rude. As I said previously, we were a party of 8 people and the food is not inexpensive. I would think twice about going there again. On a positive note, her nastiness did not ruin our evening. Our server JORDAN could not have been nicer and was extremely efficient!!!! He was also very personable. Thank you Jordan for your kindness and efficiency! PLEASE keep CARLA away from the hostess stand!!!!
