Great food and great service! It’s a very peaceful restaurant to sit down at and get sushi rather than to drive all the way to ABQ on those nights you’d rather not go far. We got the edamame with two sushi rolls and two hibachi entrees. Plenty of food for the next day as well, and stayed underneath $100. If you’re not as hungry as we were, you could expect to spend $20-$30 per person compared to our big backs. Will definitely be going back again.

SAKURA Hibachi absolutely delivered. I grew up in Oregon with easy access to fresh seafood, spent years in Las Vegas where good sushi is everywhere, then moved to Socorro about 17 to 18 years ago where quality sushi usually meant a drive to Albuquerque. Finding this place closer was already a win, but the experience went well beyond convenience.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the service was genuinely attentive. I came here with my daughter for a daddy daughter day and she was blown away. The moment she finished her last bite of her teriyaki filet mignon, she looked up and said “10 out of 10,” which pretty much says it all.
We went on a Sunday around 3:30 PM and it was calm and uncrowded, just a few other couples. If that is typical, I honestly appreciate the quieter vibe because it made the experience even better.
This spot exceeded expectations across the board. We will definitely be back.

Our first time here. I’d say it was ok. Not the best, food wise and service wise. We had a reservation for 630. When we got there we waited till about 645 to be acknowledged and told that they were cleaning a table for us. Once we sat down we looked at the menu and chose our drinks. Well, our server kept walking by without looking at us. We finally waved her down and she looked at us and said “oh you’re ready” lol. Also, who adds lettuce to sushi? Weird! I’m sure we’ll be back since LL has literally nothing but at least we now know what to expect.

My fiance took me to this place for the first time and I really enjoyed it! I had the twin lobster meal and he and our daughter had sushi. I also tried Miso soup for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great and the wine was delicious

We have been two times so far and absolutely love this place. It’s very authentic and all the workers are Japanese. They have Japanese sodas and just amazing appetizers, soup, sushi, and fried dishes and desserts. It’s in the corner of all the shops and we drove by it so many times and decided to give it a shot and were pleasantly surprised with the quality! Nice to finally have a place to get some sushi in Valencia County without driving to ABQ! They also play Anime on the TV inside which just adds to the ambiance.

Was very hungry was pleased with the food. Would have given them 5 stars but I thought the menu said there were 10 shrimp in the bento box and I only had 5. Miso soup was tasty but a little salty, rice was good and plentiful. The best part of the meal was my server, Christina. She had a delightful smile and attitude which made the meal excellent. I will be back and I will check the menu for the amount of shrimp.

I definitely want to come back again. As you can see in my picture, I got the lo mein which is delicious. My husband ordered the orange chicken and he was fairly disappointed that the orange chicken was 80% breading and 20% chicken. Nonetheless it was very tasty. The spring rolls were really good as well. What’s not pictured was the California roll I ordered. It didn’t taste as fresh as you’d like for sushi in Los Lunas. The sushi id have to give a 2/5 stars alone. Definitely want to come back and try something else and everything did taste very good (except the California roll).

This place is a gem in our little town. The quality of the sushi is better than most restaurants in ABQ. Tonight we ordered the chirashi bowl and a few rolls. The staff were super friendly and our food came out quick. 10/10

We haven’t been here since covid and really enjoyed it. Hubby and I went and were just disgusted. My soup bowl had dry food it, server had to have see it and didn’t care still served it to me. My wine glass was dirty and had little hairs all over it and our forks covered too. Were not given or offered chopsticks and our food portions were kid sizes, Wasabi was dry and brown and ginger was old and dry. So disappointing we will not be returning

This is a refuge, for those that want a spiritual experience,! What I found particularly interesting, was the number of participants from the congregation, it was a candlelight service, on Christmas Eve,! It’s a small congregation, people were very friendly,! And above all very genuine, if you need a quiet place, to worship God, with like-minded people, this is definitely a place to try,! Although I did not experience it for the moment, I think this is a place where the holy Spirit resides. Amen. Amen. Amen
